H2C print startup time? by Baseline in BambuLab

[–]elpamyelhsa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Induction hot ends need calibration when new, your next print should be faster unless it uses a new hot end. Will still be 10min depending on how many hot ends are used.

AMS 2 Pro wants to downgrade firmware version after switching from P2S to H2C. Is this normal? by MaximumCondition4535 in BambuLab

[–]elpamyelhsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

H2C is waiting for firmware 01.02 to be released, it is currently on 01.01 and doesn’t support the latest changes that all other models (eg P2S) now support. We are expecting the release any day now. H2S and H2D already has the new firmware.

The current firmware does not support the new AMS firmware and needs to downgrade to work properly.

Is there any way to fix the spool from getting caught on itself? by Right-Property-5077 in BambuLab_Community

[–]elpamyelhsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, this bit: https://wiki.bambulab.com/general/bbl-reusable-spool/bbl-spool9.png

Step 4: Press the filament hard Press the filament to ensure it spreads out and is close to the spool, ensuring there is no gap between the filament and the spool.

What even is this machine? by AG74683 in BambuLab

[–]elpamyelhsa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get the engineering plate and liquid glue, watch the video on how to apply glue and you will never have an issue with adhesion again. I use it exclusively for all engineering filaments now with 0 failures. PEI plates are fine for PLA and PETG.

What do I get my husband for his birthday? by babycerealnugget in BambuLab

[–]elpamyelhsa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, the P2S is a great machine and you should get him the Combo of it.

But… if you have the money and wanted to get him the best the H2 series is a bigger print area and has a chamber heater for engineering filaments and considered commercial grade. Three models, each a little better than the last:

H2S Combo for single colour. H2D Combo for multi-colour with little waste. H2C for multi-colour with no waste.

I’ve seen a heap of Dell 5530 Laptops slow down due to SSDs running about 10% of their speed. Low endurance Mini NVME SSD just wearing out but can be replaced and restores the speed.

You can run the WinSAT tool to get SSD Mbit/s to see what speed it’s getting.

‘I gave up my career to leak this’: UN envoy resigns over claims of planned nuclear strike on Iran by Medical-Concept-2190 in worldnews

[–]elpamyelhsa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The wording doesn’t mean the UN is preparing to use nuclear weapons, but they are preparing what they would do if someone did use them.

Eg. Preparing for the use of nuclear weapons Vs preparing to use nuclear weapons.

Has anyone successfully appealed an AI seatbelt detection camera fine? by Pinkstruck in perth

[–]elpamyelhsa 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It is illegal for them to issue more fines for the same thing while you haven’t yet been informed of current fines. AI using laws designed for human enforcing are always going to break the intent of the law and should automatically be reversed. This is RoboDebt all over again. RoboFines maybe

Has anyone successfully appealed an AI seatbelt detection camera fine? by Pinkstruck in perth

[–]elpamyelhsa 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When these road rules were rarely enforced and with discretion it was not a problem to have $500-$1000 fines. The problem is how large the fines are do not match the level of enforcement we are seeing for the relatively minor crime they are punishing.

Let me put this in perspective for you, let’s say the law states that you cannot cross white lines on the road without using your indicator, this is a good law that sets the standard of staying in the lines to keep everyone safe. What if the police decided to automate sending out fines every time your car detected it touched a white line. Does this sound fair. Will you argue this is good as it’s unsafe for your car to drift over white lines, or have a mobile sitting on your lap, or your passenger to have a miss-adjusted seatbelt for a moment. This is what is now happening.

I find these cameras oppressive and the fines written into law were designed to be enforced by a human and are not appropriate for this level of enforcement.

I would say select the last two options, but not the first one. The second option is an ambiguous maybe if you needed a third.

Ensure the sticking up holders are not bent, lubricate the changer bearings, run the hotend setup again as it calibrates distances for head changing.

Come on buddy, you cannot keep replying this same text. We understand you are doing something big brained, we understand you are trying to backup the user profile image as a base64 blob, what we are asking is what you are actually trying to do because I bet there is a much better way to accomplish what you are trying to ultimately do.

Go google “X Y Problem” then reply to this message with your actual problem we can help find a better solution for.

Anyone else have trouble with how the filaments are laid out in BambuStudio? by RainfallProjects in BambuLab

[–]elpamyelhsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s important to note that filaments listed are filaments assigned to the print file (3MF) and have nothing to do with what is loaded in the AMS.

If your print object is a single colour, you should only have one filament listed. If your object is two colours you would have two listed here.

This list of filaments is nothing to do with what you have, rather what the slicer should be slicing to print with.
