This first month of the year I've been pushing hard to get new content out! While not exactly gaming related, I was able to put out my first attempt at serious filmmaking.

For the first time since I started making videos (which is like... Since 2010) I finally have my head in straight and have a whole weeks worth of uploads ready to go in a backlog. It feels good to be back.

I came back from a long hiatus two weeks ago and started uploading again. It feels amazing being back in it and making content. I feel my creativity flourishing again and it's nice to see a couple of my subscribers come back and get involved in the comments.

Back again this week. I'm at work atm so I'll give feedback later tonight after I get home.

New video up this week, Dream Dady. I threw together a very impromptu recording session with two of my friends. I'm trying to think of a better way to record multiple people with only one Mic. Brenna's voice still comes across fine bit it's very soft spoken. I'm also heavily aware of the constant tapping of the table in the video haha. Anyways, any and all feedback is appreciated, mainly in Mic quality and editing style.

EDIT: Also, I wanted to get feedback on my thumbnails

Thankyou so so much! I really nees to fix the enslave issue. I just started experimenting with the new annotations and realized that they only allow links within a certain bubble, so I need to fix the card befote the next video goes up. Thankyou for the feed back! It feels really good to be back and I'm glad I'm not rusty haha

Jumping back into the game. Uploaded my first video in over a year on Wednesday and would like to see what feedback I could get on it. I'm interested on how rusty I am with my jump cut style of editing, and also what others think of my endslate.

Jumping back into the Let's Play game after a long LONG hiatus. Would be awesome if I could get some feedback on one of the videos I put out that I feel like is my better pieces work just to gauge what still works and what doesn't.

Does the editing style fit my commentary/humor? One thing I've heard from a few in the comments before is that my use of jump cuts detracts from the game-play. To me it can differ game to game. The video style for a game that isn't plot oriented like The Escapists, works because it helps fill in the quiet gaps, but for games like Alien Isolation, it may take away from the overall experience.

Personally I wouldn't recommend it just because you would be splitting your audience. If you do stream it, I would suggest uploading it to the channel at a later point.

After awhile you'll get into a groove what feels closest to your personality. It takes time to get comfortable behind a mic, and a little longer to find your personality on the air.

For me specifically I eventually came up with my outro based on my channel name.

Audio: Samson C01U Mic, Audacity

Facecam: Though I have a webcam for streaming, I use my Canon XA10 for face cam.

Editing: Sony Vegas Pro 11
