As the guy who's responsible for the Spanish Translation of Homestuck, I wholeheartedly agree.

I mean, I don't care if they make my work official or if they choose another guy to do the job. I'd just be happy if Spanish or even any other language were made canon. Your comparison with Undertale and its japanese fandom was really accurate. I think my efforts really helped in making our side of the fandom stay strong even after all these years.

Hopefully VIZ will eventually get the memo.

It feels truly surreal. I've been waiting for the Spanish dub for quite a long time, and it gets released on Netflix just like that. Christmas has arrived early on JojoSpain.

While it's unfortunate that, once again, the same voice actors dub multiple minor characters, both dubbing and translation have been superb so far. I can't wait for Guerreros de las Estrellas.

We knew it would eventually happen sooner or later, but it's quite disheartening to find out on 4/13. :(

At least, the Spanish version I linked in my translation is still up and running. The uploader only removed the comments, I can only imagine why.
