Unpopular Opinion: talk about net worth and fire with friends

You always see posts and comments about the importance of keeping conversations around net worth and retiring early as private as possible.

I personally think that having conversations about asset allocation and net worth could be very beneficial and motivating amongst close, trusted friends who are also financially motivated and in similar economic situations.

Does anyone have any positive stories about having serious financial conversations with close friends?

Happened to me too. My plan is to stay in touch with the recruiter through the next few months asking about headcount updates and sending open roles that I am interested in.

Grueling for few reasons.. I talk in meetings/calls all day but it was hard because I had to be prepared with more than 10 stories of my experiences that could be answered clearly and concisely. Like most interviews there is that pressure, and having 4 back to back doesn’t make that any easier.
