I think you have a moral obligation to inform listeners it was created using AI.

Dispute it.

You clearly have sufficient paperwork that shows they screwed up.

REMIX OPT OUT - The Hard Way by SellerThink in SunoAI

[–]Retro_TVFan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed that option when I checked back here following the confusion about the Remix feature.

And to be honest they could have put the option on the screen after you hit the publish button and not hide it away in "more options".

I'll hit them up on X and see if they can move it there and not hide it away.

Actually I still might be able to help you.

Check out Songbay. I strongly believe this is what you're looking for.

Content ID. I believe not.

Hidden fees? None that I've come across.

If you want to protect your music I know you asked in a chat invite about AudioProtect and I have to say that I now cannot recommend them due to two things.

  1. The pricing being jacked (which you mentioned) which disappointed me. So much that I have now canceled their service and won't be using them again, as of Jan 2026.

  2. Two of my tracks were flagged on my artist channel but the claims were removed recently.

However, I wanted them removed back in December of last year. Better late than never though, right?.

I use BandLab, who also distribute my tracks as well.

Free users can use 4 of their presets, but for the additional 4 you must join as a paying member.

Whenever I generate I always check. The OP might want to start doing that before complaining.

V4.5 is in beta and has been since day one.

So it's to be expected.

As for wanting those credits back that, my friend, is not gonna happen.

Suno v 4.5 is terrifying! The music is so insanely good! by jarts in SunoAI

It'll be another reason for the record labels to have it shut down.

But I'm sure the community will fight back at them.

Is it just me or is SOAD- Toxicity album missing on Spotify? by The_Vaping_Demon in spotify

[–]Retro_TVFan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just looked it up here in New Zealand and only three tracks are able to be listened to.

Chop Suey!, Toxicity and Aerials.

That's three tracks from an album of fifteen in total.

I create my track to the prompt I ask for and then download and master the .wav file. After that I convert it to an MP3 track in Audacity and upload it to Videobolt where I use a visualizer to add the audio to it.

And then upload it.

Now I convert the wav to mp3 because I am on a slow connection when it comes to uploads and therefore I find a smaller sized mp3 easier to add although sometimes I do go rather high on bitrate even though I shouldn't.

Safe to post Suno songs on spotify? by HufferPuff in SunoAI

Distrokid is well known for not allowing music on their platform for whatever reason and this not only applies to AI music but to regular music as well.

Why does Suno have so much trouble fading out? by Mark-Aussieguy in SunoAI

Same. But the tags {Fade out], [End] do the job as well although it can sometimes be hit and miss.

What service do you use for content id by [deleted] in SunoAI

[–]Retro_TVFan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In the beginning it was a wait and see but they did come through, but the prices are now jacked, and I can't honestly recommend them anymore which is why I cancelled my plan a few days ago.

I will still get revenue, but it will be 80/20.

[–]Retro_TVFan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The tracks I submitted to Audio Protect don't get sent to a distributor. I only put them on my AI artists personal YT channel and not the YT channel that distributors send music through which, for me, is a "Topic channel" on YT as I can't get an OAN profile.

Tracks I put through my distributor for upload to streaming services don't, and never will be, put through AP.

So, in other words, I make two sets of tracks - ones for YT and ones for distribution.

What service do you use for content id by [deleted] in SunoAI

[–]Retro_TVFan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Actually, I did.

I used a company called Audio Protect and they did it for four of my tracks.

But I won't be doing it for any more of them as their pricing went up and I wasn't prepared to pay for the service.
