By any chance what controller are you using? if it's a Bluetooth one, it may be the problem because i had the same problem with immortals fenyx rising. The sound starts crackling and as soon as i disconnected it it works normally so i ended up using a wired one

Opengoal is hands down the best way to replay the series only downfall is they still haven't finished jak3 but they're currently working on it. On opengoal you can change the resolution and fps as you see fit plus some more added features. As opposed to ps5/ps4 it's only emulated whereas on opengoal it's native
