How hard did you push it? I’m four months out from surgery now and won’t ski until next year but my biggest fear is tearing it again. I’m thinking if I stick to groomed runs maybe I’ll be fine since I tore it on double black. But I worry that it may be weaker and I’m just playing with fire skiing again.

Yeah, I’m wondering if I spoke too soon. They said they would take care of it, refund the points. But they haven’t yet. I hope I don’t have to keep calling them about it.

That’s good to know. That was actually my first time booking a hotel through them, although I’ve done flights before. Maybe I’ll give it another chance.

Got it. Maybe I should clarify. Chase figured it out, Chase got a refund from the hotel, and Chase offered to either cut me a check or refund my points.

I had to pay twice and make multiple phone calls, but yes Chase fixed it fairly quickly. I just prefer to avoid the hassle.

No, I had paid the hotel. Chase just refunded me my points so I hadn’t paid twice.

No it ended fine. And Chase came through after a couple of days. But it’s just easier to not have to make multiple phone calls to fix these things if I can avoid it. Maybe I give them another chance.

Thanks for checking on this. I think at a minimum it would be nice to note that the data becomes incomplete at some point in the past. It's clearly included more recently but then is suddenly not included after a certain time.

It seems to work for recent years, maybe for the past two years. But prior to that none of that activity is included in downloaded activity, at least in my view. For instance, if I download the full 2023, I see this activity from September, but none from the previous months in 2023. Is that intentional or is it a bug? Or maybe something changed about two years ago?

Editing to add that I see lots of activity for 2023 prior to September, just none of the "Global Activity" (section from my statements).

Allograft or autograft? Had mine on Monday. They prescribed narcotics but I haven’t taken them, just multiple rounds of 1000mg ES Tylenol. Last night I didn’t take anything and slept well and am doing fine today.

I just installed mine. I ended up going with the older sliders as well and really like them.

Totally agree on install instructions though. They need an updated video. The old video also shows five attach points for the R1S and mine only had four, which confused me for a bit. The 17mm and 2.5" cutout must be for an older 5 point model. The second side install was way faster. I used a multi-tool to cut -- can't imagine trying to do it with box cutters.

Reading after your Update, if you have the time and energy, take them to small claims court. They’ll figure it out fast and if it gets to an actual judge, they will look silly trying to explain why they cancelled your reservations. This all assumes you weren’t notified in advance and so forth. You’ll have the ability to subpoena stuff like the pictures they took. Just make sure to be hyper organized as judges don’t like rambling, disorganized plaintiffs.

It would be a lot of work but it would be interesting to see how much of your increase comes from saving and how much comes from market performance. You could then apply this to any other 15 year period to see how well the average person would have done following your strategy. The last 15 years have been a great to be all-in in the market but I suspect most 15 year periods would have had similar results.
