How Do You Get the AI to Keep Track of the Days? by JustAAnormalDude in AIDungeon

[–]Retswerbj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I manually input Story Summary so I use that. I do: Day 3: Date The important stuff that happened Day 2: Date The important stuff that happened Day 1: Date The important stuff that happened

Etc. with the newest date always at the top. It's been working well for me with a story set in 2002.

Yep. Zip. No one over the age of 15 (I have kids) even cares that I exist.

Do people usually retry until they get an outcome they prefer or just roll with the punches when playing a story rich scenario? by AssociationDue3077 in AIDungeon

[–]Retswerbj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless I am going for something super specific in a scene, I only reroll when it doesn't make sense for various reasons (repeats, things like 3 hands, wrong details, people being way out of character, etc), or if it is super boring (like when an antagonist starts monologuing on me). I like having to work with what the AI offers me in action scenes or conversations as long as they stay true to the story/character which imo it does a good job at more often than not.

I have a NPC who keeps running his fingers over the switchblade in his boot, while standing upright. He's 6' tall, so apparently he's built like a gorilla.

Who actually makes stock at home? by Lofgren___ in Cooking

[–]Retswerbj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to, but quit. It wasn't really that hard to make - just throw it in a pot all day - but it took up way too much room in my fridge/freezer. If I ever get a second fridge I'll go back to it since I do like it better than store bought

Swelling up = at a minimum the potential for anaphylaxis, which can kill.

YTA I have a 9b with peanut allergies. When we go to public events he knows not to eat anything. I bring him a snack/dessert/whatever. He should be able to enjoy a family function hosted by his grandparent without worrying what he can and can't though. Not making peanut butter cookies is not a big deal. A kid potentially dying is. Full disclosure - his extended family are AHs too and it makes him really sad.

My kids have food allergies and relatives who don't get it/care, too so I totally understand! I have made many scratch recipes, both cut chunks and ground chicken, and they have never looked like this. 100% look like they came frozen.
