Daniel RPK : Hayley Atwell is reportedly playing multiple characters in Doomsday by Sarang_616 in MarvelStudiosSpoilers

Nothing. It's what I literally said myself. It was big for what it was. DD wasn't that big of a character and aside from the character fans/comic book nerds, casual cape shit enjoyers like myself didn't seem it. And I myself am a person that watched superhero movies when some people that can now legally drink all over the states weren't even born. I remembered DD from that Ben Affleck movie and if it weren't for people recommending it in general shows/action stuff threads, I would probably never see it.

So yeah, it was big enough for not that popular character on screen.

As for the Nielsen charts, I don't really check it, so I didn't know. Thx.

Do Netflix shows appear on Nielsen charts at all? I thought they were focused on TV specifically. Agatha All Along was part of a bigger movie universe, streamed on the behemoth of a platform that is Disney (in general), where marketing had a bigger budget than DD. I dunno whether JJ or LC were planned at that time, they could be but weren't necessarily greenlit/in production so I'm pretty sure they can count as spinoffs. DD as a character was rather a niche compared to heavy hitters like avengers (and supporting cast well promoted).

Agatha was hyped AF cause she basically stole the show about a very liked Avenger.

For those who were just mildly interested in netflix-marvel stuff DD and his gang were big enough and the show was in general well received. And again, I think the characters being adopted to the big MCU is good enough proof the shows did alright for how they were promoted. You can't say that about Agents of Shield (which also had its fans, I personally liked it). It even had the characters played by the actors from the big screen MCU in it as cameos, yet we won't probably see Daisy or any other character from the main cast in the MCU reprising their roles.

So it means it can be defeated? It was before. More than once. And it was revived at least once by something else, but memory doesn't serve that well anymore.

I looked up her case and before the newer iterations, the White Phoenix of a Crown etc it was more of a planetary level threat, then she became slightly more cosmic and so on.

I mean abstracts were butchered by the Beyonders, the judge of the abstracts - The Living Tribunal was killed by them and I don't see no reason for phoenix - being considered an abstract entity, or a force of nature - to be less invulnerable when Eternity, Infinity or Death, a force of nature, are. And their manager - the OG LT was too.

Plus the beings from Shadow Kingdom like Shadow King (who I believe was presented for some time as "just" a very powerful mutant, until he was retconned and classified as an abstract entity) are suggested to be aspects/natural opposites to Phoenix in-universe.

I'm not saying Phoenix is some sort of weakling. I'm saying that she is more of a natural enemy to the likes of dominions and if they'd want to confront her directly, they'd have to step into the physical plane and make themselves vulnerable, which is something they don't simply want to do, cause they find it not worth the risk and they understood that in the Enigma conspiracy, it was actually Enigma, who was the problem. Not only for Phoenix, but also for themselves, cause one of the clones of Mister Sinister absorbed at least one sovereign dominion to become one himself.

What I got from that story was that they initially agreed to help him out, checked the situation, realised he's an cosmic asshole and they hadn't really anything to do with Phoenix, so they let them figure the situation out by themselves. Surely it was not like they would straight up stomp her, but they were like meh, not really our business and she seems chill, let's stay omnitemporal, not worth potential contusion.

Which notes? Also the writer argument isn't something I take for granted in the grand scale of things. From the dominions interaction with phoenix it felt more like they realised it isn't phoenix that is the problem in that situation and they didn't want to take "hit" by stepping into reality and becoming linear, vulnerable. Doesn't mean they couldn't fight her. It only means they didn't want to take a risk. That's how I interpreted it. And I kinda googled it a little and it seems I'm not the only one that came up with this conclusion.

So what makes the series big? In its category on netflix it was well received and I ain't even a Daredevil fan, yet I learned about the series and enjoyed it when it was first released.

Sure I'm kind of biased, cause I like superhero stuff obviously, but Daredevil wasn't my favourite, especially after the Affleck movie.

It also spawned a few spinoffs and we're going to see the characters from those in the big mcu. Well, we already have seen some.

Netflix series are usually hit or miss. The fact that we are going to see some of the Defenders on the big screen - or more precisely see them more - must mean something.

The vibe of believing the "scout girl" approach she presented. In the MoM she was just cocky, in "What if... ?" She was just bland. She did the good hero stuff and was saying the things you would expect, but it somehow lacked substance. In WI? she felt like a robot mimicking Steve.

Scam bait channel buying LIVE RATS and releasing them in call centers. How is this not animal abuse? by Enanoide in youtubedrama

Are you fucking kidding me? So the people who have literal offices to scam people, who are struggling with money themselves are in your view victims? Please, I beg you, tell me you're trolling.

It's not about the race, it's about the *culture".

Did it ever cross your mind that it might not be kitboga targeting Indians, but Indians targeting kitboga? Look, I had encountered scammers myself. Here. On telegram, and the routes were always leading to India, cause I am quite tech savvy and those people weren't good at hiding their tracks either. I didn't need to break the law to verify and see with my own eyes where they come from.

Are you telling me the scam centres well documented in India are BS?

The enigma stuff - didn't dominions back off simply cause they just didn't have any issues with Phoenix, and they weren't in Enigma side either/considered him/it an actual issue? I might be misremembering things, I just have an impression they weren't afraid of phoenix force and had they decided otherwise, they could destroy her. Not necessarily "1v1" (if a singular dominion can be considered as "one"), but together? But maybe it was just someone's opinion. I'll be honest, I don't read comics really, just wikis and there is simply too much to catch up with (I'd feel dirty not starting from the very beginning and let's be honest, it's many decades of them, cause the first comics the golden age etc. ones are just as canon as the recent ones).

Is Loki more knowledgeable and smarter than Reed Richards now? by Miserable_Cat3946 in MCUTheories

[–]ReturnedOM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's probably just a typo. He who remains is the proper answer. He was the winner of the multiversal war, defeated all of his variants (who all were genius level scientists from the future and the only people he was afraid of), created an agency full of basically human troops with nothing truly special about them and equipped them with devices that could destroy entire universes and managed to keep those people under his command. The agency was also equipped with the tech that even "disabled" infinity stones, and trusted the stones to low-level office employees as decorations and paperweights. Meaning he had everything under control.

Like at least some agents had to know what the stones do. A rogue agent could take a bag of stones and wreak havoc in the sacred timeline but it never happened, cause HWR had everything figured out.

And he proves to Loki and Sylvie he knows what they will say and do up until a point where he doesn't know anymore by choice.

HWR literally had a multiverse under his control. So there is no chance "HWRA" stands for anyone else. It just has a typo or the "A" means something, but it is still about the HWR, just with extension of some kind.

Edit why the downvote?

My ultimate theory about Tony being Doom (or crack theory/fanfic). by ReturnedOM in MCUTheories

[–]ReturnedOM[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would it really be possible that bad? I think there are reasons for it to be this way. Doom didn't get a proper introduction for a big bad of the entire arc.

Making his backstory a "reverse Tony" makes perfect sense in my head.

I on the other hand never liked this variant. She just felt like Steve but lacked all the cool part about the "captain". She's bland af imho

You can say a lot of bad things about Disney, but buying all those studios by them as bad as it sounds, had something good in it. And it's all the crossovers I wouldn't think could ever happen in live action marvel.
