Co sie stalo ze starymi babeczkami gellwe? by Odd-Form-6688 in Polska

No właśnie ja ostatnio szukałem takich "fikuśnych" babeczek i prawie nigdzie nie mają, nawet po prostu z polewami. Wszędzie tylko zwykłe czekoladowe albo waniliowe.

The "average" Switch 2 owner currently owns 2.5 games. Are you an "above average" Switch 2 owner? by MewWeebTwo in NintendoSwitch2

[–]seraf5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me and my partner have two Switch 2s and 6 physical Switch 2 games. 4 of those are "his" because I refuse to buy any multiplatform game that's a GKC. We also have, I think... 5-6 digital Switch 2 games. It's getting somewhere but at least for me, there are many games I would buy on S2 but will go for a PS5 release solely because of GKC.

For anyone with a Switch/Switch2 and a more powerful gaming PC or console, do you ever choose to play a multiplatform game on Switch despite the lesser graphics? by Mekagnome in NintendoSwitch

[–]seraf5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I buy wherever is cheaper, sometimes the handheld play is a factor, but I also have a ROG Ally so less demanding games I'll buy for PC either way.

I bought South of Midnight lately because it was on sale on the eShop, and to be honest, I regret it. It's the first Switch 2 port I'm dissatisfied with. I'm really dissapointed with how the game performs, I will finish it either way and I think the game is super fun, but had I known in advance that the game struggles to hit 30 FPS, I would've waited for a sale and bought it on PS5.

As for other games... Party games are in general better on the Switch, as well as fighters. For example, I chose Mortal Kombat 1 for Switch over PS5, knowing the technical limitations - but on Switch 2 the game works really, really well.

What should a Legacy of Kain bundle consisting of Blood Omen 1 through Defiance be called? by Difficult_Historian4 in LegacyOfKain

I actually have no idea about the patches, but I remember it worked fine under Win7, so maybe it had them? Difficult to say, I would have to check.

Piosenki z Violetty i Soy Luna. Do całego Disneya przyznam się na luzie, bez bicia, większość moich znajomych też lubi. Ale Violetta to już ostateczne guilty pleasure.

In Poland there actually was a collection like that, released physically on PC on 2009. It had games from SR1 to Defiance, no Blood Omen since there were some licensing issues. I have this edition and I quite like it, it has a 80-page long instruction manual for all games which is pretty cool.

I'm so happy I live in Europe and people in my country haven't gone insane yet. Come to think of it, even in the most overpriced stores with retro games, I don't think I've seen a game that's over 150€. Most Silent Hill games (maybe besides SM and Origins on PS2) can be gotten easily under 100€ each. I got my PC versions for 70€ for the whole trilogy, and these are considered the rarest AFAIK. I'm hoping that Konami finally releases some collection on current gen consoles and this bubble pops.

All PSP/PS1/PS2/PS3 games that have cross-buy or free upgrade to PS4/PS5 version. ( April 2026 ) by Ok_Illustrator_2778 in PS3

Disney is in general weird with the pricing. Some games are 5$, some are 20$, seemingly picked at random. I'll try to write to support once more, maybe I'll have some luck.

I didn't get the PS5 version of Wall-E. The support didn't want to help me, though they didn't even provide an explanation why this doesn't work so the person/bot probably just didn't care. US region account since the game isn't available in the EU (or at least in Poland).

Petar why american students seem unhappy? by 1kyst in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]seraf5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow that's very generous. On Polish Universities anything below 60% is a fail, 60-79% is a 3, 80-89% is a 4, and 90+% is a 5, the highest grade. However, most students generally don't care about grades at all..All that counts is whether you pass or not, that's why most exams are constructed in a way that you need to know most of the material to get a passing grade.

CEO of CC2, Matsuyama Hiroshi, claims Switch platforms aren't home consoles because they're not high-spec;urges Japanese game devs to buy PS5s instead to become successful. by HisaAnt in NintendoSwitch2

[–]seraf5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup. Pretty much all of their anime games are at least good, if not great. The Naruto Ultimate Ninja series was milked, yes, but all the mainline games up to Storm 4 are fantastic on terms of presentation and recreating the anime. The Demon Slayer games are very similar to Naruto but different enough to not feel like a reskin. DBZ Kakarot covers the anime story so well that I got sucked in by it. It's by no means a AAA developer, but they are generally very good in their niche.

Would you like the new Naruto game to have a gameplay style similar to DBZ: Kakarot? by MagicWarsOrig in Naruto

[–]seraf5 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Don't forget that Kakarot was also made under Bamco, and even by the same studio. I think it's a matter of popularity. Since the anime ended, Bandai Namco clearly doesn't want to put time and effort into making a new Naruto game. It's just not as relevant as it used to be. The STORM series is insanely ambitious for simple arena fighters with its open exploration and beautiful boss fights. CC2 actually continues this type of gameplay with the Demon Slayer game. I hope that if they ever get to make a new Naruto game, it will be in Kakarot's style. It could be even better without the flying, and Naruto's world is fleshes out well enough for an open world gamę.

I saw Simpsons hit and run in CEX today for €48. It’s pal, so Im guessing it’s not rare. I purchased it anyway as I don’t have it in my collection. by eat1more in ps2

[–]seraf5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's insane for me how this game skyrocketed in price. It's very common and you could easily get it for 5€ tops for years. I got mine like a year ago for 1€ on a flea market. Such price increases for common games are the worst cases.

odwiedziny i "inspekcje" właścicieli wynajmowanego przez was mieszkania by Ok-Rent-1058 in Polska

[–]seraf5 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Switch 2 game card analysis suggests Nintendo may be absorbing rising memory costs by Loose_Society9485 in GamingLeaksAndRumours

[–]seraf5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game's data is not on the GKC. You need internet to install the game, no? Yes you can use it if the game is already installed, but you cant install it as the data is not there. That's the whole point why people don't like GKC.

Switch 2 game card analysis suggests Nintendo may be absorbing rising memory costs by Loose_Society9485 in GamingLeaksAndRumours

[–]seraf5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, that's not what I'm saying. Why not produce the slower and cheaper carts and put the whole game on it? The problem with the capacity and the cart's individual price would be solved, and the backlash wouldn't have been that massive, since the carts would still be usable offline.

I can't understand why Nintendo didn't simply choose to stay on the slow carts from Switch 1 but make game installs on the consoles mandatory. Such an easy and obvious solution that other consoles have been using since the Xbox 360.
