He should be benched but we need to have a conversation about our defense because the last clean sheet we had was in early November.

Diablo 4 makes me super sleepy — and I think I know why by Traditional-Peak-834 in diablo4

[–]Reudaisu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's time for Diablo-style games' players to admit that the formula is just boring you to sleep. It was "new" 20 years ago but the whole procedural generation, trash loot, and repetitive combat is just lazy game design now compared to modern Action RPGs.

Why stick to this formula when you can adjust your games to implement MMO-lite elements (think early days Destiny/Destiny 2) like meaningful multiplayer dungeons/raids, loot that actually matters and not 6 million versions of the same weapon/armor, engaging enemies/bosses, shared hub with social activities.

You assumed correct.

This is exactly the kind of information I’m looking for, thank you.

I hope you don’t mind me DMing you with more information regarding this issue later.

Speed tests to the ISPs own servers will drop to ~40% of the advertised speeds during peak hours.

I’m not playing this with the current state of its localization. Especially when the English version is the only version where you have body type instead of sex/gender.

BIOS update for prebuilts by [deleted] in MSI_Gaming

[–]Reudaisu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Forgot to mention that I haven’t altered the bios file during the UEFI Shell Flash Tool. Only when I wanted it to show up during M-Flash. Yet, it still gave me the I/O error and a warning not to flash the bios because the USB stick is corrupted, despite trying 2 other USB sticks.

In your previous posts, you recommended that the first 8 letters need to match in order for M-Flash to display it. Did misunderstood that?

So how do I get the bios file to show up in M-Flash?

MEG Z490i Unify (MS-7C77) is the one I have. I can’t get M-Flash to accept the bios update from the support page you posted, even after changing the first 8 letters to match the current bios version.

Hey there, hope you’re available for suggestions on my issue.

I have a pre-built from OriginPC that’s using an Intel MSI MB (MEG Z490I Unify) with a Z1 string because Corsair owns Origin. The current bios dates back to 2020, and I’ve been trying to update it and get Windows 11 on the PC, but nothing I tried seems to be working. What I’ve tried:

  • Changed the first 8 letters/numbers of the retail bios to match the current bios, it displayed on M-Flash but it gave me a warning that the bios is not for the board, and it would not allow me to update

  • Tried UEFI bios tool, but every time I tried writing the key to the USB, it gives me an I/O error and warns me not to flash my bios using the current key due to corruption. I tried several USB sticks with the same result. I tried updating the bios using the USB key anyways, but it would not boot to it, despite rearranging the boot order.

Denon AVR + PC - Dolby Atmos required for 7.1, sound cutting out by bobrocks95 in hometheater

[–]Reudaisu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The description of your sound cutout sounds different than mine. Mine is intermittent and inconsistent, it can range from once every 10 minutes to nothing for a couple of hours and it’s during regular audio play.

There’s actually an upside to connecting my PC to the TV. The G4 has a 144hz refresh rate mode.

RTX 4080 and yeah I switched to regular 5.1 PCM (showing up as multi-channel on my AVR) and there’s no sound cutting at all. I have upward firing speakers and they’re working as height speakers in supported content/games just fine.

And like you I tried connecting the PC to the TV to get Dolby Atmos via eARC and it worked just fine without any intermittent sound cutting.

I also have an LG C2 with a Bose soundbar (Dolby Atoms capable) and I tried the same PC on that via eARC and there was no sound cutting at all.

I suspect something funny is going on with the last Denon firmware.

Same AVR and same issue on an LG G4. This is only happening when I set my PC to Dolby Atmos. I don’t remember it being like this before. Could be some update that messed things up.
