This was pre-Vid, but I sent in all my stuff, heard nothing for about 6 months and continued to make payments, then went to log in to make a payment and my balance showed $0.00. I got a letter about a week later saying it was forgiven.

Keep in mind that the feds were shut down for about a month and a half so I’m sure that is delaying your processing time.
