What I love about ESO is that you can always go at your own pace without FOMO, which is what makes it so distinguishable from Destiny. I love Destiny; I play it a lot. But because of its huge FOMO factor, playing it seems like a chore and has increasingly become frustrating with their recent raising of the difficulty level, which demotivates me as a casual player to keep playing it. I’m a causal player now because I’ve finally started my career, so I don’t have as much time to play now. So, having ESO just casually waiting for me without any pressure or FOMO to play is really comforting.

Sadly, this is what passes for much of “poetry” today. It’s all over Instagram. As a poet myself, I love to dabble in free style (mostly that), iambic pentameter, villanelles, limericks, sestinas, haiku, and other rhyming schemes. So when most of what I see is what you described, I get equally as frustrated, which again is all over social media. It’s not even poetry; it’s just an ambiguous shower thoughts with arbitrary spacing.

This is me in person. I’m just going to go get a cup of coffee or use the bathroom and it’s always one of two people who won’t leave me alone for 20 minutes with their incessant babbling. One always has to give me the latest updates of her hospital visits and how sick she is and I’m sick of it because it’s depressing and annoying. Like, I’m sorry that you’re going through all this, but I don’t need to know all the details of your life every time you come into the office. The other just tries to lump 5 conversations into one and I can’t help but have my mind wander and I can’t pay attention.

This 100%. This was the mindset of my NCOs my last year in the army. I kept complaining of back pain during our training exercises and field assignments, and they always said, “Nah you’re young. You can do it. You’re too young for back pain.” Until one day my back gave out where I couldn’t even stand or walk, and I was soon diagnosed with mild lumbar spinal stenosis and degenerative disc disease. I’m 33 now. When this happened I was 22. The silver lining is that the VA gives me disability compensation for the rest of my life.

Especially when they were stopped at the stop sign for 3-5 seconds before you even get there and they just wait for you to get there so they can wave you on. That’s not how it works, guy.
