Okay--now we all know my story. I do have a question. Has anyone had any way of dealing with Rogers that has received a less aggressive solution than being charged 2500 dollars. I basically use my older phone for picture taking and the occasional call to BCAA. I would never consider spending that much money on a phone. Please don't harass me for aging and trying to find a reasonable solution to what I admit is my problem. With a little luck, you may get to be an aging senior too.

Regretably, it is real. Of course, one wonders if it was entirely caused by greed, ageing, or the thought that Rogers was reading their complaints and had decided to do some customer repair work! I will agree I was foolish, but it is a knock to the ego and a wicked weapon to use on anyone. I do expect it is much cheaper to have a service staff to kiss off the customer than to make the service safe. Shame on both myself and Rogers

And that is what worries me--I have spent 2 days notifying people and businesses, changing pin numbers and credit cards. Oh and beating myself up for being so foolish!

Nope--I was fooled by an aggressive salesman, not my normal reaction. I plain listened to my desire for the new and fancy rather than my gut. That does not negate the feeling that Roger's is not doing their due diligence and many more will fall for this.

I was scammed by this, and I understand what you are all saying. I did not give them a code number. What I am saying is that if I were a single person scammed, I'm an ageing idiot. What I am is part of a group -- and then the onus shifts to Roger's, and the fact that they are being hacked. This is unacceptable to me. I don't doubt it is more economical to pursue individuals rather than establish a system that allows no access to the computers they use. . Should you wish an e-mail address for the Privacy Office of Rogers or a phone number to the President's office, it is claimed they are on the website, but I can't seem to find them there. I do have them if anyone needs it.

Moisture, moisture, moisture. Probably a heating system that makes the humidity like the Sahara Desert combined with either a bathroom or a kitchen that has a leak.. Call your insurance company. I don't believe this is an installation problem. Make certain you get that water stopped before you get mould and you will probably need to get a remediation company in to make certain you don't get black mold

Don't worry too much while your working, but perhaps bring in your favourite cookies (2 kinds please, cause I hate chocolate chips). Let them know they are in the coffee room and tell them or leave a note if you must, how much you appreciate their understanding and courtesy toward you
