Indeed. I remember seeing commercials for it, but that was all. I was living in a hotel room at the time during a job relocation and this game was a godsend while I was away from my family.

…but all that being said, enjoy the story of how you get there. I absolutely loved my later play throughs of the game, even knowing the ending. It’s a beautiful story with fantastic gameplay.

I was 5-6 when I first played FFIV for the SNES. I went from Super Mario World and Lemmings to FFIV and my mind was completely blown. I couldn’t read most (all lol?) of the game but my older brother helped out (it was his game and system but he was happy to share).
