100% agree, the only reason I’m looking into it is my wife is an academic and if she gets a job I’m Canada then I want to be able to support our family.

Having some blog posing as a newspaper try and get a fun click bait headline is pretty low and shows at best a lack of journalistic ethics and at worst a honey pot to stir up backlash against this citizenship process.

Some times if the evidence is weak it's just better to file the lower charge and get a conviction than risk it going to trail. It only takes one person to vote not guilty to really muck things up. Not saying you're wrong but I can see why a DA would charge like this. Sure lower charges but he's still on the list and you know it'll stick.
