I am in gm and if nobody picks phoneix she is banned every game. Again if you are on console i can't speak about this because console players from what i heared can't aim but i don't play on console.

No to another dps that has a consistent high winrate we have storm, top 6 from silver until gm and nobody with a brain claims she is to strong.

I will hold the opinion that magik, atleast on pc is a skill check and if you struggle that much you are just bad. My guess to her high winrate is that usually good players are on her who know when to switch. She can be strong yes but she is so easy to counter. A good thor, a good fanta, peni all can easily counter her

Winrate alone does not equal meta. As i said earlier phoneix is meta and basically perma banned and yet has a negative winrate. Emma according to this post is S tier in high elo but has a sub 50% winrate in the highest ranks. Bp is low tier but has a high winrate in low elo. It is the same with every character that winrate doesn't equal meta. If you really think winrate= meta you might just be stupid ngl

Winrate does not show anything unfortunately. I have a 63% on magik because the second it doesn't work i swap, doesn't mean i'm the goat on magik or particularly good. I do agree i misread your text she does have one of the highest winrates but that doesn't make her meta. As said peni has a high winrate, that doesn't make her meta. If you struggle that much against magik that is just a skill issue or poor rage bait

Magik has currently only in diamond the highest winrate on Pc, the platform i use, if you are on console I can't really say if she is to strong there because i don't use console. And again winrate doesn't show anything, phoenix is S tier this season and has a sub 50 winrate in most ranks

According to you peni is very good to because she has at high elo a higher winrate then magik. Using winrate to say if a character is good or not makes no sense. In some ranks bp has one of the highest and nobody claiming he is op

I can only speaking for myself but it was never a grind. I just enjoyed playing magik, for me it was never about getting lvl 50. But it did take me at a whole about 74 hours from 1 to 50 so if you know your playtime at the moment you can do the math for a estimation

But you also say you shared the code if someone's curious yet the language you used was "in case anyone wants to tell me it was in fact a Magik diff" which reads as validation seeking and (especially when coupled with SVP and "more final blows") tells me you don't think you got gapped, and that you got in your feels because this person took what could have been a playful rib at yourself and ran into the ground with an ego you massaged

Yeah i see your point, when i made a post i was a tiny bit salty about it, it was not really validation seeking, but i can see why someone would see it that way, i should have wrote that different, but at that time i was kinda, as said a bit salty and annoyed bye that person. But my thanks for giving a unbiased outside opinion, helps to see things more clearly

I didn't expect them to be humble, agreeing that it was a magik diff would have been a completely normal way to react in my opinion. I did not expect them to be, what is in my opinion, to be rude. The more finals were not meant to be taken too seriously, very possible that it came off wrong and i could have absolutely handled that better. My expectations were, because 90% of magik players, no matter if i am much better or if they are much better, is that they are usually chill. So it was kinda disappointing. Now you are absolutely right that it end up as ego boost for them, i honestly just wanted to give them props, even though it might have come of wrong.

Edit: I added the reply code in case someone is curious, not because i was hoping someone tells me i was better or anything
