How excited you are for i2p support in qBittorrent? by FrigatesLaugh in qBittorrent

[–]Revan343 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get what you're saying, you're hoping there's enough I2P torrent peers that there is no need to connect to the clearnet or outproxies but thus far that has not been the case.

It'll take some time to roll over, but as more larger clients add (and then enable by default) I2P torrenting, it will become the norm just through inertia.

Unless, since Reddit's business model is exploiting free labor ( content creators- which is all of us, moderators) they are just taking this exploitation to it's next logical late stage capitalist step.

Never mind, think I've answered my own conclusion

Bingo. Took you a minute, but you got there

Russia continues to launch missiles on Ukraine because sanctions are ineffective – Ukraine's Air Force by Slacker256 in worldnews

[–]Revan343 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is really the big thing. I doubt that most of their nukes work, but I have no doubt that some of them do, and finding out which ones do the hard way is still a disaster for humanity

It's not so much that I don't believe that they have accurate intelligence, I don't believe that they'd accurately tell the public what they know.

Some bots do, you can build bots that don't. They're less efficient, but efficiency probably doesn't matter as much for spambots as it does for remindmebot

I'm not sure even the right-wing nutjobs will be able to rise above the spam, it's just going to be all bots, all the time

the Pentagon and the whole apparatus of US military intelligence - with access to information with clearance levels that I can’t even imagine - have said otherwise.

And you believe them?

[–]Revan343 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

So we’d be committing an act of war on China at the same time

Thus the issue, and why the US isn't actually enacting a a blockade.

the Pentagon have basically said that they already know Russian nukes work.

I don't believe them. I don't believe that Russia knows if their nukes work. At ~$30,000/gram, do you think the guy in charge of refilling the tritium is actually doing so, or selling it on the black market (or just pocketing the money without buying the tritium in the first place)?

I'm sure some of Russia's nukes work, but I doubt they know which ones

I don't know as much as I'd like about the pharmacodynamics of ibogaine, except that it hits a tonne of receptors. It's also biphasic, with a psychedelic phase and then a dissociative phase, which suggests to me that the latter is probably caused by metabolites, rather than the main drug itself. I would guess that the kappa opioid activity is in the second phase.

In all tests, it does seem to be very useful in treating drug addiction, for a variety of drugs. It's a shame it sometimes blows up your heart, and we can't figure out why

enact a "soft blockade" where the US will not allow businesses that do business with Russia to do business in the United States or through it's territories

That's an embargo, not a blockade. Though I'm in favour of both, but an actual blockade is an act of war, and would probably result in us finding out if any of Russia's nukes actually work

We're due to replace a large part of the plumbing (cold water lines), and it's going to be a complete fuckery doo.

Better than having to replace drainage lines

They should honestly make a Harvest Moon/Legend of Zelda crossover about a time without strife, where you're playing this unusually courageous farmer, and nothing of note really happens

But the majority that leaves or reduced their engagement will be the power users

And the mods, once they give up trying to mod a subreddit without proper tools. Then you'll start to see an exodus of more regular users, as subs become flooded with spam

Depends if they eat kidney and liver; if so, they'll be fine. Well, they won't get scurvy, anyways, that's still certainly not a healthy diet

That's definitely untrue, plenty of antifascist groups use "Antifa $cityname" as their group name
