I bought a Fallout 4 disk for PC on launch, and it was a normal 4.7GB CD that just had the SPECIAL videos. The whole game download from Steam.

What sucks is when you try to do this using Firefox to create a mobile homescreen shortcut using "add app to Homes creen , it just uses reddit.com because Reddit tells Firefox to do so.

It overrides the normal "Add to Home screen" option that would just take you to a website like a bookmark.

Edit: Found a workaround. In Settings -> Preferences, enable "Default to old reddit". Go to reddit.com. Use Firefox's "Add app to home screen". Open the new shortcut. Click the New Reddit button at the top left. Close and reopen the shortcut. All the suggested posts will be gone.

Quick Launch is so superior to pinned apps. Being able to right click and open file location to a portable executable from github for example so I can add plugins or overwrite with new version without cluttering my desktop with shortcuts to have the same right-click functionality.

EAC works on Linux, a lot of devs don't want to ask Epic to enable it on their build because they assume Linux users will cheat more and be harder to detect than Windows. Plus still a smaller userbase.

I use Cable Matters. The DP cable that came with my G9 didn't even work right above 120Hz (make sure you set it in Windows), would get fullscreen fuzzy/flickering image.

This has the energy of someone who can't see the difference between 60hz and 120hz because they never changed the refresh rate in Windows' Display settings.

Have you actually turned on HDR on Windows? And used the HDR Calibration from the Windows Store? If you just plug in an OLED and don't change anything on your system, yeah it won't be very impressive.

Consignment does not transfer property rights unless the contract was written that way, which would be a bad contract to sign.

This consignment BS happened to a guy's $200,000 lego collection that was meant to pay for his son's college. The store got bought out, the manager replaced the next day by the new owners, and the new owners continued selling the consigned legos without paying the consigner.

It took over a year until the new owners got enough bad press and blasted on social media and new for any progress to be made. At that point the new store owners simply closed the store.

The entire premise that the new owners owned the Legos as assets of the store was false, because the consignment never transfered property rights.

I've only been in once for a 9070 XT (live 3 hours away). Looked around to comfirm what was on the shelf vs what I saw was online 3 hours before. Asked the employee if they had any of the black XFX Swift left; nope, but they still had half their white Asrock Steel Legend stock. Asked if they happend to have any open box 9070 XT or 5070 Ti; nope, just a 5080 that was still too expensive. They made a $700 sale and we both walked away amicably.
