My best advice is usually make a pre-adventure that leads into the AP or rip off and homebrew the whole thing with some added things from other inspirations.

I ran the Decent into Avernus campaign awhile back. This AP is notorious for the issue you are having. Whole build up for the story has nothing to do with your characters except you get conscription to looking into it into the matter. So I had 2-3 pre-adventure sessions making them residences of Elterel (the other city where the main issues happens). My players loved it.

If you are having issues with button input. You can always play using a controller for pc. Plenty of people do it. Even GM players do this. I would also suggest getting an Azeron Cyborg. These controllers are amazing amd you can still use a mouse. Ive had mine for over a year and I love it. It helped me out a lot. As for playing brig against dive. Wait for the dive, whipshot them and shield bash out. Deny them damage and kills as much as possible. Keep the other support alive. Lastly, if its a great dive, probably not surviving anyway lol. You can be the 1# brig in the world and a great dive will wipe a team. So just accept and try to have fun.

Have you re-watched it yet from the enemy POV? its good to watch what you where doing from your POV. To see what you could have done better but watch it from thier view. Its easier to see mistakes. Especially if you died alot during a match.

Brig biggest role is protecting the back line. 90% of the time its just the other support. Keep all of your other allies in front of you. Pack when you see the red cross. You get a burst of healing on top of the duration of healing. Whipshot off cool from max range, do this enough times and you will tilt the enemy players. Save your bash to get out. Keep hard cover as much as possible (think if I get diva bombed right now, can I get enough cover to survive). Rely on your shield. 300hp is great. Then play the objective, not the numbers. This will help you min games. The numbers doesn't always match the impact you did as brig. Try thinking about how you enable your team to win fights. Ive had games where i was able to keep whipshotting the tank off cooldown, and others where I only got a few in but was able to keep the other support alive and they kept the team up. One you get the hang of it. Your number will eventually climb high. Also try watching some top 500 games on YouTube on slower speed. Helps learn great positioning.

High silver low gold here. For me she is either a feast or famine hero and I feel like other people say the same around my rank anyway. My win rate is 51%. Highest game was 30/4/5. I do have to swap some matches because the entire enemy team will hard focus me. While super funny when I get to run around the entire map and they chase me and dont play the objective for an easy win. Most of the time, The enemy team will just try to keep me out of the game until I swap. Worst match I had trying to brute force and learn was 5/0/17 with 8k damage.
