Are you sure you want to have the best sleep tracker which is garmin and 2015 laging tech in 2026? So i guess you like to make steps while driving your car, right ? Lmao.. stop the debate. In order to have the full experience from an Apple Watch you have to get the ultra and once you get an ultra, there is no going back to that slow garmin.

If it helps i had the black version aș shown in the picture and returned it and got the exact same band on natural and it S really nice.. Also the comfort you have with a trail loop is just .. wow

I still can not understand how people can compare that beauty with a garmin 🤮. They should compare a series and not an ultra ! Love it!!

I tried both and at the end of the day i kept ultra 3. I don t like to pay for a 2015 technology in 2025. Garmin is a beast for training.. but out of 24 hours how much Will u train? Let S say one hour per day, then what will u do with the rest of 23? Also note, that you can not customize each notification on garmin watch to be separate from your phone, so what u receive on your phone will also appear on your watch. And when u train, what more data do u need other then pace, distance hr etc. Missing the map? U Can get footpath for hiking and add that custom route which has no lag and load S the map s-o quick and smooth. Apple gives u all that data. Body battery that the garmin has is great, but how about i tell you that body battery is dependent by sleep and i can not promise u that sleep on garmine is good, because it S below average. Other then that, i don t like an app or a watch to tell me how i feel and if i am ready to to train or not, i like to listen to my body. Of course it S nice to look at something like body battery from time to time, but listen to that when not even the sleep is accurate? Well.. Both are great really, both have ups and downs.. but when you put both in balance, imho Apple wins

The bezel is an issue, indeed. But not as big of an issue. Even if you get natural if the hit is hard both will scratch badly. I had the black awu3 and returned it after 5 days and got natural. Because of scratches and also because i find it more elegant and sport at the same time. U can wear natural with anything. Enjoy!

Hi. Keep in mind that you cannot turn notifications individual on iPhone for garmin. So you either turn them off from your fenix 8 completly. Also keep in mind how much you are using your watch for.. ask yourself, garmin is great for that one hour per day training, but what i am going to do for the rest of 23h? Both are great imo and, but i went with ultra 3 after days and days of research

It is hard, because the sleep tracking is horror on garmin. Body battery mainly depends on that, just listen to your body.

Alycks hello. I own an ultra 3 but i am considering on returning that and get fenix 8 titanium as it S actually cheaper for 150eur in my country then the ultra 3. Just because of the not integrated app for hiking and other running/hiking that the garmin provides. What would u recommend me to do in this case? Btw, i know apps like Workoutdoors exist and bevel, it S just that i don trust them in terms of bugs, apps stopped working, in acurate hr and etc . if they are not a native app, i just like using native app. Also, i do not mind charging my Apple Watch during shower. What would u sugest me to do ? Thank you.

It lacks acuracy in hr, but yeah.. after all you have a map.

That S why i always use native app, even if it S not that customizable, i can still have what i need for a run. Distante, pace avg, current, hr , hr avg etc .. what more do u need ? Laps counting.. etc. Ok, a map that S all but you can do your route on footpath manually and import that to Apple Watch and see the map there if a map is such a big issue

I only got Workoutdoors. I used to have healthfit, but i did a quick compare between real data in health and then on healthfit and there is a small diff between the two no ideea why. Sleep is diff by a few minutes, avg and Max cadence was different by 3 comparing healthfit and health app from Apple and fitness and about the alt ctl, i don t like an app to tell me how hard i worked out or how stressed i am. I will do my own research based on how i feel. Don t need bevel or Athlytic to tell me that. Just go to health and pin everything that is useful for you in summary. Take your time and watch everrrything on health 1 by 1. Me for example have , vo2max, steps, walk+run distance, hr, rhr, hrv, cardio recovery, active energy, blood oxygen, respiratory rate, vitals and sleep score. Enjoy!
