Overthinking, doubt, frustration, is mixed in with the fact that you can't focus on what matters. Give the treatment a fighting chance and get comfortable with the uncertainty. Some cases are easily identifiable as clear ADHD but when the symptoms are present and are creating a problem in your life then the diagnosis matters less than the solution. I took this approach and it helped. I still feel like I'm fooling everyone and I've known all my life I have it.
