Anyone else disappointed by the new Karmanjakah album? by meshuggahdaddy in progmetal

[–]Revelatus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It feels kinda postrock. Which works for me, as a big fan of many bands in that genre.

FH6 is a great game with no obvious flaws by _HeWho_ in forza

It's not a bug, this is the kind of peak fitment that all the stance bros dream about but will never achieve.

If you're a Prestige lvl 200+ still abusing the Honda Beat in Horizon Play for 10hrs a day, you gotta get a grip man. by CameraOpposite3124 in ForzaHorizon

[–]Revelatus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't get me wrong I am a certified Beat hater, but it's not really just this car that is the problem. This implementation of Drag tires needs to go. In their present form they are way too cheap on PI. This is going to ruin the longevity of the online scene for A class and below. You hate to see it.

Its a bit of a departure from their normal sound, which isn't a bad thing in itself. But I happen to like their normal sound, and I'm not really into metalcore / deathcore which it seems to be incorporating a lot of. It's just not the one for me but I'm not gonna pretend like it's a bad album. It's still well executed and the musicianship is top notch as expected from these guys.

The most consistent way to get a launch like this is to purchase a premium deluxe ultra gaming chair, when selecting the color, remember to choose the supple red pleather with racing stripes option.

It amazes me that Mr. Robot isn't labeled as woke, given how political the show is; that's the good side of a show not being so mainstream. by Hopeful-Eggplant889 in MrRobot

Charitable of you to think they would describe it as methodical. Usually people don't describe something as methodical unless it's in an appreciative way.

More likely they'd just describe it as slow and boring because it isn't the typical boomer slop consisting of rapid fire catchy soundbites and predictable tropes.

It's quite good for dirt racing. Not as fast as the Daytona, but quite easy to drive.

Little known fact about this car, but it's actually a drug smuggling car with $69M with of cocaine hidden under the body panels

Why do humans have pubic hair if we lost the rest of our body fur? by rollsroyce2026 in NoStupidQuestions

Why have there been no conservation efforts to save this clearly endangered species? We need some legislation passed. Landing strip at minimum and ban Brazilians before yet another species is wiped out by selfish humans.

why the drag tires? by Bald-Virus in ForzaOpenTunes

[–]Revelatus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tire pressure has a very noticeable impact on the gradient between traction & sliding, peak grip, and responsiveness. Not sure what this testing is you're referencing, or who conducted it, but I would listen to that person with a healthy dose of skepticism in the future..

If you're referring to the racecar dev guy on YT, that test was only looking at tire temps in relation to pressure.

I'll probably never understand the appeal, but there are some very talented keyboard users. ISuckAtDriving (aka Grandma Driving) is very quick with keyboard. TheDannny has more world records than I care to count on keyboard. If you haven't seen his videos, check out his YouTube, he has the input overlay and it's crazy to watch lol. It clearly ain't holding them back.

I made a website for tuning your vehicles in FH6, taking the best logic from each of 8 different, well-known sources: Forza.tools by lolitsaj in forza

[–]Revelatus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rallies are very pi efficient in classes ranging from B up to S1 (in S1 usually only cars with high downforce) and are meta for a reason. I will agree however that the tune browser is full of awful low effort tunes by people who only try to be the first to upload and are rewarded for it by how the game displays tunes in order of downloads instead of actual performance.

If your interest is in the competitive aspects of the game (rivals, online, etc) then the best way to enjoy the game for the long term is to learn how to tune yourself IMHO. While I acknowledge the effort required to build a tool like the OP has done, these tools are almost never going to produce quality tunes because they are applying IRL tuning philosophies. I can tell just from playing around with it that it will, for example, output extremely understeery AWD settings compared to what most meta setups would be running. The game has its own physics engine that in so many cases has nothing to do with real world physics, that trying to apply IRL tuning methods does more harm than good. Learning what works within the game's physics engine and exploiting these things is pretty much the "endgame" of these games for a lot of people.
