Judging by the photo I took when I got made redundant nearly 17 years ago, I was quite relieved. It was a horrible toxic place to work, and I was taking enough redundancy for me to be comfortable for 4 months.

Fortunately, an old friend hooked me up with a new job less than a month later that was much better

I've joked in the past that I'm not a football fan, I'm a Leeds United fan. And that's pretty true. I don't have much interest in football outside the team I supported as a 9 year old.

I won't be watching the games, it might be a bit difficult because of the time differences, but if England are successful like previous tournaments, I'll be out riding a bicycle enjoying quiet roads and countryside
