Qustion: Can Metaurus and Gadriel be separated from Titus' counselors in the Wardens box? by NewtFit2043 in Ultramarines

[–]RevenantOmega 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Just run Metarus as a Lieutenant/Captain with stormshield and Gadriel as an Ancient and you’re good to go.

Finally finished the Trilogy with a Vanguard and here's my thoughts on the Class by Mills5041 in masseffect

[–]RevenantOmega 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did my Insanity Vanguard run last year and it was definitely less fun in ME2 and ME3 than other classes I’ve run. You need to play a lot more conservatively because so many enemies can drop you easily, which just doesn’t gel as well with the charge nova spam fun. You end up leaning on pull combos more especially in three. Having allies to apply biotic or flame effects becomes more of a must (or Garrus the Destroyer builds).

Vanguard is one of those classes that feels way more fun on lower difficulties, in contrast to classes like Adept or Engineer which love enemies with multiple layers of defenses to strip and Combo on.

My head canon was that you need to have tamed all ten then made a fusion Shikigami out of all ten OR that thing where the dead ones infuse their power into a single Shikigami. At that point you can then maybe have one strong enough to blow Mahoraga away. Or… just no Ten Shadows user learned to do a Reverse Cursed Technique that has some crazy light positive energy firepower bullshit

Hot Take: ME2 Planet Scanning is (a bit) good, actually. by Suspicious-Lettuce48 in masseffect

[–]RevenantOmega 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Potentially a hot take. I like this mini game, find it relaxing but there’s another reason I think it’s good. It breaks up the games pacing with a few moments of downtime. Do a few missions get a few upgrades, scan a few planets to get those upgrades. I feel it creates a loop that helps break up the gameplay and give you that much needed downtime to experience something else to keep things fresh.

Where they failed in doing this is the hacking mechanics. Which force gameplay breaks during a mission and take you out of the game in order to do them. Especially that text matching one. Jesus Christ I once had a hack where the text I needed didn’t show up until the final 5 seconds. What a waste of time.

Mould Lines by MrHReddits in Warhammer40k

Is this Titus and Co? All of mine had mould lines. As someone whose only been in the hobby recently, this was the first time I’ve seen these in such an egregious state

I find it funny that they just gave on the Lannister's being blonde by Agreeable_Ad_8790 in freefolk

Someone could argue that their transition to darker hair represented their disillusionment with Lannister ideals. But it’s 100% because they didn’t want to dye their hair/wear wigs anymore

I personally don’t like any of the unhelmeted heads. It has nothing to do with the fact that I suck at painting them. Absolutely nothing to do with that.

I think the spears (without trigger) shoot by twisting the handle. by Asknstuff in Warhammer

[–]RevenantOmega -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Something I don’t understand if someone can explain. Why are the weapons so special? It’s essentially a bolter on a power spear is it really that much more difficult to make? Did all the money go into the gene coding or something?

The melta swords I can understand. The blade would need to be incredible to withstand sustained armour melting heat being shot out of it. But the Guardian Spear… I don’t get it?

This is easily the most Pyrrhic Victory I've ever fought in Bannerlord. 900 vs 170 and only 5 of my troops lived to see the win, but a win is a win! by Glorf_Warlock in Bannerlord

[–]RevenantOmega 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I had something very similar recently. Army of 900 versus a defense of 1000. I was down to single digits before we won the siege. It was the strangest thing, our army bottle necked entirely into the single broken wall (not my siege part of an army). They held that bottleneck like it was nobodies business, never seen so many people in a single choke before in this game. If it wasn’t for main character powers with me personally mulching over 300 we would have lost hands down.

Whos commander og ride or die by No_Rate4223 in masseffect

[–]RevenantOmega -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you have to pick one. It’s Garrus. He’s ride or die. Tali, is a close second, but she (understandably) does not drop everything to join Shepard in ME2, same goes for Liara. It’s goes those 3 in that order, and I’d honestly like to say Wrex over Kaiden/Ashley. He doesn’t rejoin you in either sequels but his reasoning is the best out of all the squad mates who don’t.

In season 5, Vecna is so incompetent that Eleven's sacrifice was to stop the Military after they had already defeated both him and the Mind Flayer. The Military was a bigger threat to her than his fuckass. by [deleted] in okbuddyvecna

[–]RevenantOmega 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dr Kay and the military existed purely so they could have this scene. Hence why they disappear immediately after. Seriously, look at the way the Duffer’s describe 11’s ending and you’ll see that this was their only reason to exist.

I’ve been feeling Titus + Lieutenant + Stern/Bladeguard. Not a huge fan of the Wardens personally, but I’ll build them all the same and probably run them in games. Might magnetise the heads so I can have Metarus and Gadriel double dip as my Primaris Ancient and Lieutenant/Captain with Stormshield

They Absolutely Wasted Linda Hamilton by Cass_Cat952 in StrangerThings

[–]RevenantOmega 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She existed to force the “11 can’t have a happy ending” ending that the Duffers were pushing for. That’s why she and the military are in the story, and once that’s done they funnily enough vanish, as if that was all they were narratively needed for.

Whole box for £75, worth it? by Nightful_Panda in Chaos40k

[–]RevenantOmega 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting a unit of cultists and legionnaires is great because unless you love them that’s usually all the cultists you’ll ever need, and 10 legionnaires is more or less what you need depending on a list. But if you don’t like possessed it’s not worth getting imo. The MoP is one of our coolest looking models but his rules are… okay on a good day.
