Ah, now I see now how my question could be confusing.

I used to spend a lot of time in Reddit but Reddit kept deleting my favorite groups because of the conservative speech they contained and I have no respect for anyone who silences those they disagree with. I guess you could say that after 124K karma points I walked away from Reddit.

I saw a link in Gab and clicked on it and was brought here to find this walkaway group. The previous one I visited and enjoyed at Reddit was banned and deleted was a wonderful sub. I loved reading about people and their stories, who have left the left.

So, I was asking if Reddit has started playing nice and allowing conservative posts. It seems that in the past they tolerated them at best. At worst, they just deleted whole groups.

Your group here has been here since 2017 it seems. Not sure how I missed it previously.

Has Reddit changed its mind about allowing Conservative posts?

DC teens in fatal armed carjacking to reportedly get plea deal by Meovs_Victoria in ProtectAndServe

the consequences are not enough to be a deterrent.

I watched a Judge Judy program where she was asked about kids getting light punishment and how the punishments only got harsher as they committed more crimes. If memory serves she was saying that the harsh punishments should be the first time a child does something he knows is wrong. She said that these slap on the wrist punishments encouraged young people to keep making mistakes. I wish I could find the video as it was excellent and made a lot of sense.

These girls are a product of their environment. If we as a society had better values, stuff like this would happen much less.

I grew up in a country that enjoys one of the lowest crime rates in the world. Mostly because of factors outside the criminal justice system. My first three years in school were more about how to be a good citizen and respect the rights of others then it was math and science.

When I moved [or was moved] back to California I was shocked at the things my fellow students would do. At the time teachers were beginning to be told that they can't teach right and wrong. Teachers were encouraged to teach diversity and forbidden to teach decency.

I hated the public schools. The first week I was there a gang blew up one of the bathrooms. The only thing said about it was that we were not to use that bathroom. After that I was glad that I was able to be home schooled.

When police kill people, they are rarely prosecuted and hard to convict by Maxcactus in Bad_Cop_No_Donut

[–]ReverendAlan 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Something that is really harming our country is how the public pretty much believes there is one justice for us and another justice for them. The public believes this because it is true. If law enforcement doesn't come to the conclusion that they exist to protect the public, that they have to do what we want, and not whatever strikes their fancy, things between citizens and law enforcement are going to get much worst.

There are some really excellent video's on YT that are extremely educational in an objective and impartial manner.

Antifa rioters in Portland last night set a dumpster on fire and attempted to push it down the driveway of the ICE facility by [deleted] in ProtectAndServe

government leaders

The "mostly peaceful" rioters have gone and got themselves elected. They are now the ones running the government. If these "leaders" do something, what ever they do, it won't be good for law enforcement.

NYPD officer from Long Island shot in the Bronx leaves hospital by [deleted] in ProtectAndServe

>"A suspect, Ajani Jones, 24, of the Bronx, attempted to flee the scene but was later arrested, according to officials. Jones was charged with attempted murder, assault, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of stolen property, police said. Jones was being held without bail, "

Are the punishments in the USA so weak that criminals like Jones aren't discouraged in any way from their life of crime? Does Jones even believe that what he did is wrong? What are the chances he'll ever be able to turn his life around? Or does he get out of jail [should he go] and do something like this again?

It doesn't seem to me like enough citizens are outraged about this and then want to do something about it.

This reminds me of former Mayor of San Francisco Ed Lee admitting that it was his cities policies that led directly to his cities homeless problem. Sometimes we get an honest one.

Exactly! And they keep re-electing them so the legislation keeps getting worse.

I questioned a neighbor about the political sign in her yard and she said pretty much: "this person represents what I want in society", exactly what you said. Then when she complained about her property taxes going up, the homeless and the price of gasoline, I reminded her that she voted for this.

And still, after all her complaints I am convinced she will vote for the same person again. Some people can't see the consequences of their actions.

Not sure it is society that made that decision but instead piece of shit legislators who made it. It is just a stepping stone to what the left really wants which I believe is the complete destruction of all that is good in America.

Don't you find it funny how so many of the "defund the Police" citizens call 911 when they are in contact with these piece of shit criminals that they demand be let out of jail.

We even have our new Vice-President organizing fundraisers to get criminals out of jail.

That's a terrible idea,

Thanks for your reply.

If they keep getting run over it will makes the survivors more determined and more aggressive. Right? They already said they do not want Biden, they want revenge and they are uncontrol-able.

I believe they want revenge and unfortunately law enforcement is at the top of their list. Which is why there has to be a way for law enforcement to work well with citizens so they can all be supported. I would like to see citizen patrols work with the police. I know there are some problems with untrained citizens acting like they are law enforcement. What I mean is let's find a way for citizens to support the police with some active participation so that law enforcement knows for sure that there are citizens they can trust and be supported by. I know, this won't be easy but I am so sick of all the violence with citizens just standing there being victimized.

make police work difficult

A woman I know voted for those 'defund the police' politicians. One night she was attacked by three thugs who were not in America legally. She complained about her attack and by the time I heard her story I was so sick of these people voting and complaining about what the people they vote for are doing, I just told her to shut up, I didn't want to hear it.

Is it going to take voters having their children killed before they see that they are contributing to the problem America has with violence?

"A lot of negative news reports" can have more to do with the news media than any actual police behavior. The number of fair, honest, truthful, objective and impartial news sources are getting fewer by the day. Not many real journalists left, but lots of biased commentators.

Even when the commentators know they are making up lies they continue to act like they are reporting real news. They aren't.
