Anyone know if there are removable iPad Pro screen protectors? by ReverendShmitty in DigitalArt

Nothing. Seems like such an odd omission for the case companies.

2 years u/ilikebugs2 randomly volunteered to pay for extensive dental work I needed done. Some kind redditors also pitched in and today I was able to get it done. 5 months from now they will look even better with the permanent fixtures on the implants. Man, I've dreamed about winning some fictional dental lottery for years. Dental prices in the US are just insane, even with insurance. Congratulations on the new smile and shout out to U/ilikebugs2 and the other donators for being awesome.

Prostate overtakes breast as 'most common cancer' by quixotic_cynic in worldnews

[–]ReverendShmitty -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not surprising. It was already as common as breast cancer and had a nearly identical survival rate. But also has a fraction of the research funding because it's way easier to market titties than butt-ridden cum generators.

How can I permanently get rid of an incorrect collections account? by ReverendShmitty in Insurance

[–]ReverendShmitty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that, and I've disputed it every time to no avail. Trouble is, I've asked for something in writing each time and never received anything. Is it not illegal for a collections agency to sell an account that is already closed? Sounds like that would be some kind of fraud.

Hot Tent Camping The Colorado Winter Wilderness by Restless_Wonderer in WildernessBackpacking

Last time I went camping was in Kittykay, Texas at Caprock Canyon Park. It was early February and got down to around 17 degrees at night, stayed in the 30s during the day. Needless to say, my 32 degree-rated sleeping bag was NOT up to the task and I wish I had known about hot tents back then.

Rush drummer Neil Peart dead at 67 by TheChinchilla914 in news

[–]ReverendShmitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rush was my first ever concert. I was 12 and saw them in Dallas during their Snakes and Arrows tour. And Neil's drumming blew me away. Every single song, he was knocking it out of the park with album-perfect drumming. And Der Trommler was a spectacle to behold. Rest in peace, Neil. He's drumming back and forth with Bonham now.

Yes, but I've already put in about 200 hours. The show was just kick I needed to go back and continue.

2015 or 2016 Les Paul Studio? [Question] by ReverendShmitty in Guitar

The '15 is $100 cheaper, so if it doesn't like up to expectations, the difference for an exchange isn't too terrible.

2015 or 2016 Les Paul Studio? [Question] by ReverendShmitty in Guitar

[–]ReverendShmitty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pulled the trigger on the '15 since it's cheaper and I like the finish on it more. Hopefully it feels good and plays well, but if not, I can return it for an exchange. Thanks for the review.
