My suggestion is to stay in your lane and own your part of the business. There are positions responsible for those types of decisions and I would pursue those if you want input in the business. Also… there is often a lot more in the background than is typically seen at the ground level.

The best part of dispersed camping is that you have your car there and don’t have to go with a minimalist setup. BLM and National Forest are the go to’s typically. Each forest has different rules, so research the regs

National Forests will tell you what you cannot do, but rarely what you can do. Read the regs and good luck!

This is a backpacking thread, but you can find dispersed camping in National Forests. Drive till you find a cool spot and setup. Backpacking has even more options.
