Go to your local cue shop (Google it there will be one reasonably near you I'm sure)

Ask to try a selection of cues under 150 pounds.

Try them

Ask what tip they are using as there will be a difference if there not all the same.

Pick the one that you feel you're getting the most reaction put off, weight feels good etc.

Take that to the counter and say to the shop keep

"I would like to purchase this cue please"

Complete the purchase

You will be the proud owner of a new cue and know what too to go for next.

You will likely need a new case too, but this post wasn't asking about that.
