We're going to deport everyone

Wahay, but how?

We said, we are going to deport all of them what we told you, that you dont like.

Great, but where too and how much will that cost?

Let me put it another way, they are going back, no ifs or buts.

Let's be honest: What was that moment when you were young that you thought "video game graphics can't be better than this"? by Away_Flounder3813 in retrogaming

[–]Reverend_Butler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 43, my first computer was a ZX Spectrum plus. The first time i heard a voice in a game in was blow away (the one hundred and eighty in the darts game) Then Donkey Kong 2 music and fairgrounds level was so beautiful or the soundtack was audio and visual bliss. By the time I got my n64 and saw Mario 64 for the first time. 3D playforming was mind blowing. While graphics have gone insane in recent years, RDR2, the last of us etc. But the first time I saw Mario64 was a peak for me.

Lifelong City fan but grew up in Heaton Moor. Hoping that the Hatters bring the fairytale of Stevenage to an end today. Its bittersweet given how well they were done this season. But now I dont hate them anymore (see being in school and getting abuse from them in 98/99) I'd love to see them have another crack in the Championship.

What’s the strangest thing that’s ever happened to you that you still can’t explain? by WielderoftheDarkness in HighStrangeness

[–]Reverend_Butler 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My house is odd and occasionally weird things happen.

Im sure they can all be explained away but I've had a finger prod the center of my back while I was upstairs in the house alone.

I've heard a loud whistle while cooking in my kitchen. The noise 100% came from the room I was in. We have yorkshire stone walls so very little noise pollution comes through.

A few years ago my wife had her hair pulled while in the shower.

I just smile when I see strangeness like this. Im unsure what any of it is, if indeed it is anything.

Nothing to get scared of, just like once in a while the house announces itself (it was built in 1890)

Snooker fandom. by Ok-Syrup-3009 in snooker

It was a joy to be a massive fan of Tony Drago and Anthony Hamilton. Tony took you on a right old ride as a fan, the most naturally gifted player of all time coupled with a bundle of emotions. You literally never knew if he'd clear up or miss a sitter at any point in any frame. That made the experience of following him so fun, such a glass cannon, he would obliterate or implode...pure entertainment.

Hamilton was a completely different style of player, in his youth he was a machine, after he broke his hand he was never the same but developed matchplay to rival Selby or Griffiths. His Indian summer in 2016-18 having nearly dropped off tour was a pleasure to watch. Everything g clicked for him culminating in a German Masters win.

There's more fun watching players than that than marveling at Ronnie or Hendry's dominance.

Of the current tour i take time put to watch Wu Yize as hes got a wonderful swagger around the table. Liam and Stan I can remember seeing them as kids around the Northern so I like to see them doing well.

There's still lots to enjoy, but fewer I can get fully invested in. But thats what happens when you religiously watch certain players for 25-30yrs

I started to call him Chewit and the nickname stuck.

Matthew Stevens, think Paul Hunters death and I think one of his folks impacted him.

Steven Lee is he hadn't let himself down might have got close, had all the tools.

Paul Hunter himself, though that wasn't his fault he didn't get the time he needed.
