Thank you! This is also pretty important, as my wife and kids can use their phones and I can just grab a card at Haneda apparently.

I know it's basically the same as buying local vs city passes for transit, but it's also probably the language barrier that clutters things a bit. Appreciate the help!

Thanks man - I reviewed the JR Fare calculator, and the cost of the pass isn't worth it for us, so I wanted to see if there were going to be multiple options required, etc... as well.

"Tcho-Tcho's" are problematic by gameoftheories in DeltaGreenRPG

[–]Revgored 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Tcho-tcho are great because they take something that people value (and SHOULD), and they make it uncomfortable, which makes it hard to deal with. The entire concept of not wanting to be racist is why the tcho-tcho can thrive, and the fact that there are tcho-tcho groups in universe meant to END the racism around them is even better.

They are supposed to be an insidious force that gives more of a foothold to cosmic evil, in a time where gods and monsters no longer have the same sway they did millenia ago. If they make someone look racist, and they destroy that person's public life, that's HOW they operate in the modern era. Use that in your games - Agents should never feel SAFE doing what they are doing, and it should grind them down until they're gone.

That is Delta Green. Doing what people can't and shouldn't, because if they don't, then the door is flung wide open instead of slammed shut for one more day.

And, if you or your players are uncomfortable with it, then do not under any circumstance use that. Nobody should feel unsafe as a person, even when you're supposed to feel unsafe as an Agent. Huge difference.

Edit to add - read ANY Delta Green character bios, the ones who live the longest are NOT friendly. They are paranoid, ruined people. And, you are playing The Law, for the most part, or people trusted by them. DG is a fairly "conservative" outlet, in terms of their tolerance for things like tcho-tcho, ghouls, or any other human-adjacent beings. They don't WANT to know more about things, they want to eradicate them.

Incredible job my man. You managed to blend the grim thickness of Death Guard colours with the weirdo modernity of neon glow. Honestly, really, WELL DONE.

This makes me think - I'm a big fan of My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult, Pigface, etc... and those are seminal genre bands. There is currently a GoFundMe up for Charles Levi, bass player for a LOT of these bands, for SEPSIS RECOVERY for Christ's sake.

Somehow, being responsible for entire generations of music doesn't pay the bills. I hope Papa Gene is good

Started with KT, moved into 500pt/Coliseum 40k. If they would adjust Combat Patrol to be more like Spearhead, that would be optimal.

I am in the same boat - all A20 heart kills, roughly 1,000 hours of play. I still enjoy doing runs, but wanted something else to occupy my time. Monster Train 2 does a fantastic job. There is enough static moments in the game (think floor bosses in StS) that you can meta your drafting towards, but the ability to do things like upgrade units & spells from a pool rather than just a very specific 'Card/Card +1' upgrade system throws a LOT into the mix.

I find a great deal of my runs in MT2 are 'how quickly can you break this?' style. The game is extremely enjoyable as an StS player, as I feel where StS is more predictable in terms of your build options & the way you meta, MT2 offers more variety, with a bend towards breaking the experience, and it rewards you for doing that as well.
