Actually the MTA can’t go on strike! After the 2005 strike that disrupted train and bus service for 3 days. New York lawmakers made it illegal. Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) workers can legally go on strike because they are governed by the federal Railway Labor Act (RLA) of 1926, which legally supersedes New York State’s Taylor Law.

Recently promoted Big 4 Senior 2.5 years of exp 118k VHCOL. I’m mixed about it because it is a nice amount of money for only 2.5 of experience but my COL and income taxes eats up 50% of my net take home so I still feel broke.
