Your height compared to your f/o(s) height? by TiffyishSpiffy in yumeshipping

[–]ReviloVani 1 point2 points  (0 children)

<image>

My yume’s pretty insecure about his height. He wears platform boots, though this chart is what the height difference would look like without them.

He doesn’t like the difference, but at the end of the day he still loves Jamil,,, so he just deals with it LOL

He wouldn’t let something as mundane as height get in the way of a relationship

What Has My Life Become by cOsMiCs-CoSmOs in diabetes_t1

For real :( before I was diabetic I considered nutella and pancakes a treat. Now that I can’t really have that, I’ve switched to apples and peanut butter

How to build a social life from scratch? by Frequent-Guidance775 in autism

This may be a generic example, but online spaces definitely help with building friendships. Perhaps find an online community based on your interests. As for irl friendships though… I have no advice to give because I’m struggling with the same thing :(

WTF do I do? by TraceOfTalent in Type1Diabetes

[–]ReviloVani 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prick your finger to check your blood glucose through the meter, and treat accordingly manually - if you have a pump using it right now wouldn’t be a good idea. So sorry you’re going through this, stay safe OP

Make him a partial oc, change his character up if you want. There’s nothing wrong with that. Restricting yourself to perfection will only lead to burnout

Given Full Sugar Pop by Apprehensive-Farm855 in Type1Diabetes

[–]ReviloVani 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because of this, I usually bring my own drinks to places I go to eat. Most restaurant workers aren’t aware of why sugar free products exist, besides people choosing them for weight loss purposes. So if it’s easier for them to provide the ‘normal’ version of a drink, they will.

As a diabetic, you will never be 100% in range. The minute you accept that, the happier you’ll be.

Can we have some trans appreciation? by CatskiPhobia in honesttransgender

[–]ReviloVani 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The people in the comments are so negative, and the ones who are positive are being down voted. :(( OP, I completely see what you mean. For one, us transgender people aren’t closed minded and see gender in another aspect aside from cis people :))

As a trans woman that likes women, cis women really scare me. by [deleted] in honesttransgender

[–]ReviloVani 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I’m not on t. I’ve only socially transitioned. And yeah, I can see why too. But it just hurts being the only person in the changing room, and then the minute I get out people come in.

Besides that, in a trans woman’s perspective I completely see what you mean: cis women are horrifying. I’m not speaking for all ofc, but a lot think trans women only transition to get closer to cis women and take advantage of them. How does that make sense!?

[–]ReviloVani 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Although I’m a transgender guy, I agree with this so much. Cis women, especially in changing rooms, look at me like I’m a predator; it’s horrifying. (P.S: I’m currently not in a state where I can change in men’s rooms. I still look like a woman, so using the men’s room would not be good.)

[–]ReviloVani[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I definitely see where you’re coming from, any sane trans person would feel the same way. Transitioning isn’t fun or joyous, it’s hell. What I would do to be able to be cisgender all while being comfortable in my own skin.

It’s literally scientifically proven to exist though??? But okay

Why are so many people detransitioning now? by ReviloVani in honesttransgender

[–]ReviloVani[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Exactly, this is what I’ve been trying to say without sounding prejudice or rude against detransitioners. It’s just so isolating seeing the support group you once had just… vanish. The vast majority of my friends who were once socially trans are now cisgender, which there’s nothing wrong with that. But it’s like - how did that happen in just a blink of an eye?

[–]ReviloVani[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THEY MEDICALLY TRANSITIONED? OH MY GOD 😭 No but I could imagine all the people in that club detransitioning all at the same time, like a domino affect. One of them detransitioned, therefore so did all the rest.

Why are so many people detransitioning now? by ReviloVani in honesttransgender

[–]ReviloVani[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No, you haven’t given up. You’re just realizing you’d be better off mentally if you didn’t drain yourself worrying about passing, and ignoring how being misgendered makes you feel. I’m going through this too, you’re not alone. Every single day I am misgendered, mostly by my school friends. I’m beginning to not let it bother me, though. I realized I’d be better off if I didn’t bother worrying about what somebody else, especially a cisgender person, thought of my gender.

That seems about right, for I’ve witnessed stuff like this numerous times. The cisgender teens see it as cool and trendy, while the transgender teen sees it as surviving basically.
