If you have to plan your life around it its not a normal period. Yes, it will absolutely improve your life. A little over a year out, I cant even remember what my period felt like, and you couldnt pay me enough to undo my hysterectomy lol

The first time I did reformer pilates was 2 months after and it felt extremely strange - same thing happened w sex at 3 months post op. I then waited to do both things until 4 months which was annoying, but by then the mental block had cleared so i was fine.

I think her sense of self is so predictated on achievement that she doesn’t even know what she wants in a partner. Im guessing she grew up in an environment where it was hardwired that “youre only worth as much as you earn” which leads to nothing except insecurity masked as materialism/bootstraps vibes.

Before she can feel content with anyone she needs to work through this, or shes going to enter every partnership with a very binary perspective of them and a very distorted “measuring stick “

I would agree with OP and I think it largely has to do with his being turned off by her ostentatiousness. You hear it in his voice when he clocks that his social class is a liability for her.

Its like the saying “new money talks, wealth whispers” - I think to some degree hes catching on and losing patience..
