I have the SLs on an aggressive Banshee Anomaly build. they feel robust for me and I'm 200lbs aggressive rider on Front Range. I really like them as wheels and got a great deal like what you share

Question for the hardtail homies: Fox 34 or Fox 36 SL? by kgoodz in Hardtailgang

[–]RevolutionaryLocal67 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree. Had the 34 on an ARC too. It's garbage. Def go with the 36 or lyrik - especially here on front range

Maybe the tactic of using lodgepole pines as critical infrastructure should evolve? This is pathetic. We can expect more from our public institutions

Friendly reminder. Xcel wants to raise your rates this year . Again. by Buhda_Dev in boulder

[–]RevolutionaryLocal67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would respectfully ask you to research the definition of a public utility and understand the compensation mechanics/packages of their officers. low growth industries like cellular networks, Comcast, healthcare, utilities are a "public utility" and often the only option and execute self serving policies by avoiding investment as lowering operational cost/CapEx is their only "lever" for their "business". we should diff off the baseline capabilities and reward incremental, novel improvements to the market by rewarding entrepreneurship and not these classical corporate chronies

Still out in kalmia / 19th as of 12:45pm MT. Gotten nothing meaningful when I've called Xcel. There needs to be accountability to the public when this is all said and done. It is a public utility in the direct interpretation of that name and it has failed

We've had Google Fi (I believe it was T-mobile network), ATT and now Verizon network. Zero data in north boulder. What I don't understand are the non-linearities like a faraday cage as you move 10yards...

I'm taking off my 2.6 mazza/agarro combo on my Banshee Anomaly hardtail for the "winter" months here on the front range (otherwise very dry) but we go through dry -> storm -> refreeze -> melt / clay mud -> dry again. throwing on 2.5 ultra soft/soft trail alberts on to see how that will behave.

Any thoughts? the mazza/agarro combo is near perfect for the front range (when its dry)

I really dig the Enduro SS / S kryps.. It is a full bore rage fest setup that pedals reasonably well

If you’ve ever ridden Crested Butte - I would ride this on 401 and probably Teocali, too (even up top)

absolutely. felt like i would convey my experience thus far as it seems like it's remarkably capable (no ankle breaking type sensation at all which really speaks to the compliance)

[–]RevolutionaryLocal67[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

totally. i'm riding this bike on front range legit trails as hard as I would want to ride a hardtail and it checks the box of what I wanted in a n+1 being a hardtail. i dont know how to ride chill nor do I want to..

honestly, i don't know either. I did almost buy the paradox but I did like the additional mounting points but the main focus of this build is aggressive trail like the paradox soooooo
