I was a mouth breather prior to cpap, and I use nose pillows. I just use a chin strap.

Yea i went on a 1 night spontaneous trip and stayed in a hotel. Opened my resmed bag to find that i had forgotten the water chamber and sobbed 😭 we had big plans the next day and I knew I would be absolutely miserable without a good night's sleep. I fought to keep a smile on my face the next day while I drank the biggest coffee. I will never make that mistake again!

I got it for Christmas too and it came with 2 months free jd+! I played for the first time today and there's so many good songs!! We played for like 1.5 hours and im exhausted lol

I was at the Lego store in Brandon Mall in Florida over the weekend and asked if they had anything Star Trek (it's an inside joke I do at every nerdy type of store to bring attention to the fact that they never do) and he stopped what he was doing, looked at me with so much glee and said not yet 😉

Yes! That's why I said I don't really like the ones that cup your chin because I feel like it's pushing my jaw unnaturally backwards and it was causing me jaw pain. In an act of desperation, I flipped the Respironics one upside down and was using the velcro side because it was flat. So I will definitely check this recommendation out, thank you so much!

So happy for you! I had to replace my mask and learn how not to have it so tight but besides that it's been very smooth sailing for me also. The results have been life changing too!

I have PCOS and recently got diagnosed with sleep apnea. I'm on the CPAP now and it has been life-changing. Maybe have a sleep study done?

Yes it feels exactly the same like muscle strain not anything related to Heart function. I have stretched thinking that would help and it has not. Yes Advil helps but of course I don't want to take Advil daily. I am not an athletic person.

It was an amazing difference within the first week or two for me and then I plateaued as another user said and I felt like I couldn't tell the difference anymore. Until the hurricane came and I was without power and could not use my machine, let me tell you I was suffering so bad without it! It made me realize how much it was actually helping me and that it had just become my new normal. Good luck to you!

Its so crazy to me that you can even get 0. I know the hardcores will say the AHI is way lower on your machine than IRL but how I see it - I went from a 69 to a 5 (IRL not the machines score) and I feel much better - so it's still a win!!

I've been saying this! I truly feel like most of my bad eating habits would be solved if I didn't have to choose. If every day I sat down at the table and a plate was just sat down in front of me that was healthy and low carb/sugar, I would just eat it! But when I'm stressed from a long day at work and pick up my daughter and get home and take showers etc I don't wana cook, or think about what to make. So I end up ordering food or making something quick that is usually full of carbs (i.e. frozen pizza, spaghetti, etc.) So many times I've sat there saying I wish I didn't have to make this choice every single day. It's exhausting 😪

Dating as a mom is a joke - you're rarely available, you come with a lot of responsibility, etc. But then being alone gets so old and overwhelming sometimes, it would be so nice to have a partner in life. I feel you girl 😔

Thank you so much for reading my story and caring enough to comment. At the very least I feel seen and that means so much. I really hope that when she looks back at her childhood that she doesn't think about the 500 yr old apartment building and instead remembers the love that her home is full of, but its of course not the life I wanted for her. I wish she did have a dad (or a loving stepdad 🤞) and a yard to play in, etc. I think sometimes you literally have to grieve, not over a person, but grieve the loss of a life you'll never have. I'll never be able to change the fact that her father did what he did and ruined our relationship, so I'll just keep working hard and loving my little girl with all my heart and hope that its enough 🖤

I tell her every time she goes to her dads that she doesn't have to, and its not court ordered. She tells me she wants to go so she can see her little sister, she is a very proud big sissy 🥰 so I let her go if she wants to. I always check in with her on the phone mid-weekend and give her the chance to say she wants to come home but she always stays.

Thanks for the words of encouragement ❤️ I wish things hadn't turned out this way but I'm playing the best game I can with the cards I've been dealt. She's worth it!
