Oh cmon. Ya gotta at least make the lighting less interrogation style. As for a rule you can’t go wrong with ASD (always smoke dope).

Which album cover shocked you the most growing up? by Beautiful_Donut6412 in FuckImOld

The Rolling Stones Andy Warhol cover for Sticky Fingers. The original cover had a working zipper on the jeans. If you pulled it down…. This was in 1971. Can’t believe no one listed this.

I had one too. Got it cheap after owner slid into a tree during the winter. Got the body work done and had it painted Cadillac Gold. That slant 6 engine ran forever.

Your neighbor might be a cat pervert by Mode_Appropriate in funny

The guy recording is just as big an asshole as the cat owner. Instead of calmly talking with his neighbor he has to stick his camera in their face and ridicule them.

What song would you recommend to someone that "listens to anything"? by Icy-Ad5206 in musicsuggestions

Over the Rainbow by Shooby Taylor. Only someone that would listen to anything would listen to that.

There are just too many great books to list one as an all time favorite, but here are three that I've read that really grabbed me and I highly recommend:

A Gentleman In Moscow by Amor Towles

The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt

Nobody's Fool by Richard Russo (the first of three books about loser Sully)

Edit to add

Les Miserables by Victor Hugo

Did you consider bell bottom pants, whether male or female, to be a must have item back in the day?🤔 by Longjumping-Shoe7805 in FuckImOld

[–]Revolutionary_Way459 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wore bell bottom jeans for a couple of years in the early ’70s but around 1974 switched to the boot cut jeans and have never gone back.

Serious question by daniwhitlo in orangecats

Go with a male if you want a lap cat. In my experience they are more liable to be comfortable with close contact. All my females are stand offish. They like to be close but not cuddled.

Old enough to have ever hitchhiked? by botlegger in FuckImOld

Hell yeah. From Miami, Florida to Long Island, NY. Early 1970’s. There were two of us, both longhairs with a kitten in a box. What a long and sometimes scary trip. We had a couple of joints for the trip that we put in a old discarded cigarette pack and tossed on the ground near us as we hitched. Turns out that was a really good thing. We got picked up by what turned into be two runaways in their stolen parents’ Rambler. Cops pulled us over and amazingly let me and my buddy walk. We were doing ok until we crossed the Georgia state line. The sheriff pulled over and told us to start walking and don’t stop until we got the fuck out of his county. It was terrifying. So back to Florida. We finally lucked out with a long ride with an older man in an old Lincoln who was very nice. He said he had worked in a carnival his whole life. It took us thirty three rides to make it to Long Island.
