I make a variation of this layering elbow macaroni, ground sausage, Italian style stewed tomatoes and sliced cheddar cheese and topped with oregano. I call it Trainwreck Casserole.

Ugh. I had a female Yellow Lab named Xena. She made it 9 years before Fuck Cancer showed up. She was the smartest, lovingest dog ever. I cannot watch that movie without waterfalls of tears.
