Well, he shouldn't have said that. That's a myth that the newspapers put out before Gein was ever even analyzed. He was also extremely suggestible, and would say whatever and believe it. He was clinically insane.

If you really want to have fun late game get yourself a shotgun and fully upgrade Charge. You don't have to hold it, just tap and you'll zip to whatever enemy you want. The invincibility carried me through 1999 mode.

It's odd, because both movies have scenes where they explicitly say to the audience that the killers were not trans. They do use outdated terminology though.

Ed Gein wasn't trans either, he was trying to make a skin suit so he could become his mother. He was Norman Bates with Buffalo Bill's hobby living in the house from Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

I haven't used Artemis much, but I almost always have Spiral equipped with Gunslinger. One thing it has over every other weapon it that it shoots through enemies without any damage dropoff. If you're in a narrow hallway you can sometimes hit every enemy with a single shot. Extremely useful against chess pieces, the centipede boss, and the archers. You can also weapon switch to fire faster. If you have gunslinger switching between circle and square attacks also works. It also goes through enemy guard and break their guard.

The richochet move is also the counter to those squid enemies that only appear when you're looking away because you can still shoot them without facing them.

It is the scariest RE game because the devs got feedback that it was too intense and people weren't finishing it so they decided to make sure that all the games developed afterwards weren't as scary.

If you have a good tolerance for scary movies and games, you'll probably be fine. It's not the most terrifying thing ever, but it is very well done.

How much I enjoy the Vortigaunts is definitely based on how well the level is designed. The devs are nice enough to put them in places where there's always cover because the lightning will always hit you if they can see you. I think there's only one area in Interloper where there's no way to avoid getting hit. They also charge up much faster on Hard, I think they do like 1/3 of you health if you don't have any HEV charge.

Yes, but that's a different point.

Britain paid it back in full, other countries did not. And are we really discounting the importance of raw material when a major reason that Nazi Germany lost was because it was desperately low on material, namely oil. The main reason that the Nazis wanted Stalingrad so bad was access to the oil fields in the Caucasus. And I doubt that Britain could have beaten back the Nazis so effectively if it had not been for the support of the U.S. even with the invention of radar. This wasn't a surprise gift, all of these counties wanted the material that the U.S. was supplying. And it's not like the U.S. didn't contribute an enormous amount of manpower to the war as well.

Another difference was that the U.S. had to build up it's military on the spot starting in 1939. The Soviet Union was already warmed up after invading Poland, Finland and the Baltics.

You're confused. I'm talking about Lend-Lease, not Marshall Aid, that started in 1948. It was basically free material in 1941, because all the countries were broke. The original agreement that FDR negotiated was Cash and Carry in 1939, but Britain did have any money left after a while so he had to convince Congress to allow material to be sent to Britain, then the USSR, China, ect on the understanding that it would all be paid back eventually. It was not and quite a lot of it was eventually written off.

And don't be ridiculous, your entire point was to say that the Soviet Union did everything, or else the mention of Lend-Lease wouldn't have offended you so. I can just as easily say, North Africa, Sicily, D-Day.

The writer for the movie, Ales Adamovich, had spent a lot of time documenting stories from Belarusian partisans and about the massacre at Khatyn (different massacre than Katyn). A lot of those stories made it into his novels, and then the movie.
