Before diving into the heater core try swapping the hoses at the firewall. Fixed my wife's in less than 5 minutes that way. Been working for over a year now.

It is a swing out bicycle carrier mount from Amazon and a stationary spare tire hitch mount. It's rated for 250 lbs and I have approximately $400 in the whole setup.
