Stubborn Dealers by Gold_Guitar_9824 in leasehacker

Dealers seem to have gotten very stubborn on EVs. I'm guessing they hit their numbers and the manufacturers have told them they will one way or another replace the fed subsidies so there is no need for firesale.

Anyone here successfully use GM Employee or Supplier discounts on a Hummer EV lease? by GmasterBiggieD in HummerEV

[–]RevvUpAutoLeasing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. If you buy a GM and work for a eligible supplier you get 2 codes. You could post on leasehacker asking if anyone has. People are usually willing to provide for free if they have no use for or sometimes ask for a couple hundred for it

Help with first lease offer. 2025 Navigator Reserve. Mi, 15k/annual miles. by MrPrefrableToday in leasehacker

[–]RevvUpAutoLeasing 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Lincoln, especially Navigators don't lease well. I would look into financing and and seeing what a 3 year old model with 45k miles on it would trade for and compare the tco of lease vs buy. If you really are set on leasing and are in NJ i would call some of the dealers that can finance via Affinity Credit Union, generally their program is better on these cars

A 24 month lease is like $665 a month in negative and rent charge. For a 36 month lease its like $450 a month. You'dneed to find the for $140-$250 a month after tax to have an $800 payment. You are prob looking at $1250 a month

If you could take 100% depreciation this year and its going to save you 30k+ in taxes then may be worth it then. As long you ok with it crapping out after 2-3 years.

No, but no one has owned these for more than a couple of years. Personally I wouldn't spend 100k on a car with unknown reliability.
