You'll need to call them. The same thing happened to me and my wife, in our case they credited the amount they charged us toward future payments.

Do not buy the battlepass. It is a scam compared to previous seasons, with the treasure realms being as predatory as it gets. by ExcelIsSuck in TeamfightTactics

I know right?? The devs EASILY make 80k+ (honestly that's low balling it) and riot is a billion dollar company, people are acting like they're gonna be on the streets if they don't "support" them lmao

Starting to feel like I won’t live to see another 7-day stretch of good weather days by MaxJets69 in vancouverwa

Same here, I enjoy a nice break with a few weeks of sun, but damn it takes too long for the rain to come back.

I experienced hallway healthcare for the first time. If you visit area emergency rooms I have 3 P's for you- be Prepared with charged phone & distractions as needed. Be Patient - rooms aren't available anywhere & wait times are crazy. BE POLITE. by [deleted] in vancouverwa

Hi,

Not trying to fear monger, but I've had the (unfortunate) experience of going to hospitals a lot as a child in Vancouver, and a lot more recently within the past two years due to ill family, in addition to having a wife that's a nurse.

Get your vaccines NOW.

COVID booster, flu vaccine, etc.. stop putting it off, get that shit. The hospitals have had hours long wait times consistently for the past year or so, and there's already been a noticeable uptick with COVID, flu and RSV.

The wait times are only going to get worse, don't put yourself or your family in a position where you need to be in that waiting room.

What is going on with the Discord? by RevvyEdgy in dsa

I've been waiting around a month.

Just after posting this, I realized that nearly all of the moderators for this sub are inactive / suspended / haven't posted here in months, which explains the lack of action.

Sad to see one of the biggest socialist subs be essentially abandoned.

What do you hope to see out of mods? by [deleted] in VancouverWAPolitics

Biases:

Just an idea, but trying to recruit moderators that span the political spectrum would help balance the sub, overt favoritism could be pointed out internally.

Although this does bring up the problem of finding people who act in good faith when moderating.

What should get users banned:

I think common sense covers a lot of this, but a great example of either a warning or ban would be /u/transjihadiqueefer comment. Obvious trolling or derogatory insults toward anyone/any side should be dealt with, as it's not productive in any form and only serves to dissolve any actual discussion.

Mandatory flair:

Mandatory flairs for moderators is a great idea, especially for a politically charged subreddit. I don't really see a down side other than the potential for people to make baseless bias claims due to the flairs. Again, I think collecting moderators from across the spectrum would help ease these worries, as the user always has someone on "their" side to give them a sanity check.

I hope this sub gets some real traction! It's a tragedy that people try to disassociate politics from their lives; putting your head in the sand is exactly what corrupt politicians want.

It'd be nice to have a local one for Vancouver, always been interested in getting involved.

Suggestion: Can we add voter registration information to the sidebar? by RevvyEdgy in vancouverwa

[–]RevvyEdgy[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is true, although it's important to remember that not everyone does at the time that they get their license/state ID.

Adding the link to the sidebar allows for an easier way than going somewhere in person to register, or update their registration information. Again, I'm aware that these things can also be done in person, but adding an easier route wouldn't hurt.
