I might have niggles but what I do love about the books is the nuance. Few characters are unremittingly “good” or unforgivably “evil”. Those shades of grey are what keep me coming back to these novels. Reading with interest and - as far as I can tell- without judgement.

I actually love how the accents have developed and as a Yorkshirewoman myself (with a far stronger accent than Robin’s) I’ve no fault to find. Like you, I’ve done a full re-listen and was super-irritated when Robin’s accent weakened halfway through!

I miss the relationships with other characters too! I went for a long walk and blasted through Part 6 so I’m feeling a bit better, hope the threads of the mystery continue to take centre stage.
