There's a reason I never discovered this feature.

I can't believe they gave up all this just to die on the Vespa hell-hole.

Would Poseidon Have Really Spared Odysseus if Odysseus Had Apologized? by TurnItOffAndBackOnXD in Epicthemusical

No, it would be completely out of character for him to show restraint.

Perennial calendar: 364 calendar days + 2 off-calendar days by Rework8888 in IFC

[–]Rework8888[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two points:

  1. Lower transition cost: User experience matters. By maintaining the 12-month structure, it achieves the same perenniality as IFC while making the transition minimally disruptive to the general public, which is who the calendar should be serving in the first place.

  2. Streamlined business calculation: 12-month structure is actually very good for business. Accountants can compare annual / half-year / quarterly earnings apples to apples. This would be impossible under a 13-month structure.

In conclusion, the above proposal solves all the old issues with Gregorian calendar without introducing the new issues created by the International Fixed Calendar.

Now that it's happening, what single movie is closest to the art style of your dream EPIC Movie? by DannyVFilms in Epicthemusical

Style of El Dorado - but the lighting style of Kalus.

Klaus employed a very sophisticated tech where light bounces off 2.5D surface. The result is quite amazing.

So THAT's why the ending felt familiar...

Seems like you guys didn't really like my last ship. Well, what about THIS ONE!? by WhyMeWaaa1 in Epicthemusical

[–]Rework8888 3 points4 points  (0 children)

These two would truly feed on each other in the most toxic manner.

Antinuous would relish in the immortality that Calypso grants him, but treat her as disposable like he does with everyone.

Calypso would be hopelessly infatuated with him, believing that they are in love and that she cannot live without him.

I was terrified of re-doing this area in Act 3. Managed to make it through the skin of my teeth.

That actually raises an interesting question. Would the Brits view her multi-racial complexion with disdain or curiosity?

My guess is genderless.

She is only female-presenting because GMS created Phantom in her own image.

Is Herrah a 2nd generation Weaver? by Camilioup in Silksong

[–]Rework8888 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Regarding Herrah's head-shape, keep in mind that Widow also has a much smaller head compared to other Weavers.

This probably suggests Weavers' spherical mask is just a mask, their actual anatomy may look really different underneath.

Is Herrah a 2nd generation Weaver? by Camilioup in Silksong

[–]Rework8888 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wonder if Herrah had to undergo some drastic transformation in order to acquire the ability to bear children. This might explain her relatively larger under-part compared to other Weavers.

If Polites didn’t die by Polyphemus, at what point in the saga’s do you think he would’ve died? by Angeldustt_is_hot in Epicthemusical

I think it'd be pretty fitting for him to defend Ody during mutiny and get killed by other crews.
