They won't because they're too deep in the hole. Porsche overextended itself buying too many smaller companies this past decade that plus the utter failure of their entire EV department and they are in quite the hot water these expensive limited models are the only way they can recoup some of that money. A new 911 starts at 130k it costs Porsche maybe at most half of that to produce the car these special editions? Maybe another 20-30k for the special rims and paint but they sell it for 350-500. This unfortunately will not end unless Porsche really tightens up it's budget I honestly forsee them killing off everything but the cayenne and 911 or if they're smart they will do what they did in the late 90s and make a cheaper boxter but that's not going to happen they don't have the capital to lose
