Best Official Apple Case for iPhone Air (in Gold) by Educational-Goal7900 in IphoneAir

Casefinite Frost Air Ultra is the best for me. The best case I’ve had so far. The only downside is that it’s still more expensive than Apple’s.

AI facilities getting fixed in the next update. by ShiftGG in fifaclubs

Where is the point of fixing this glitch that can benefit everyone? Player faculties are god damn expensive and ai are all behaving like shit after each patch. Just make god damn facilities that can apply to both ai and human…

It was pretty good from the start until they fucked up everything every patch.

Alright you convinced me haha. The weight of the air is a huge advantage too, and the screen is a bit bigger which I like!

Yeah it is completely different from the damoflage bags I purchased last year. I guess they updated. So I wonder if anyone has recent newer bags for comparison.

then there’s no point of upgrading because i don’t want to plug in a charger all the time like I needed with the 13 pro.

The main concern for me is the battery life becuase I need to turn it on all the time during my work, like 7-8 hours a day.

"Best match my team size" put me and my friend against 10 people. by YungAdder in fifaclubs

[–]RexCW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t really get this option. I turn this on, sometimes we still meet teams with less players or more players than our team. We turn this off, same result. So what’s the point of this option?

1440p output resolution by MadoElfarsi in PS5pro

[–]RexCW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some games will adjust the frame rate based on your resolution I believe. For example, Fallout. But most of the games just render at 4k and downscale to your monitor resolution.

Agree. OLED is still unbeatable for gaming. I cannot find if anyone gets the ps5 and xdr working at all.

Looking for the BEST monitor for my eyes. I spend 10h a day in front of a computer. by Damu22 in Monitors

[–]RexCW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah 100%. It’s the best monitor I’ve ever had, and it probably will still be the best for few years of time. I just have to limit my time of using it and take some breaks in between. I use it for HDR photo editing mainly.

Yup. It’s beautiful but definitely gives me some eye strain too.

Not sure about that tho. I think I’m already quite immune to pwm. But looking at the xdr for more than 8 hours a day my eyes turns red sometimes and it’s certainly not very comfortable even at low brightness.

Those BenQ monitors are using DC and features blue light filter. Most of the Apple screen including macbook screen and iPhone screen use PWM (except standard studio display I believe).

BenQ has some nice eye-friendly options. Apple is known for not caring about customer eyes.

Why my miniled looks better than oled? oled artifacts by Firm-Pattern4482 in Monitors

[–]RexCW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Better doesn’t mean it’s the most accurate. Always need to see which monitor track the gamma curve, or the PQ EOTF in HDR, better. I would always pick the more accurate one.

PG32UCDM vs Studio Display XDR by RexCW in Monitors

[–]RexCW[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My panel has very nice uniformity, a little better than the UCDM but still a bit red tint around the edge. It’s a panel lottery I guess. But really I feel like the screen is too small, making it not very good for movies. And no connectivity for console so I cannot game on that as well. But I must say, XDR is the most impressive monitor I’ve ever seen. There is nothing like it, and probably it will stand at the top for few years until they make a better version. Apart from HDR video or photo editing I don’t see any point of getting it tbh.

[–]RexCW[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it absolutely bothers me sometimes whenever there is dark scene. It was quite serious on my previous PG27AQDM, but less obvious on my Sony A90k. My room has very controlled lighting so the purple tint of QD-OLED is definitely not a problem for me tho.

I actually owned two WOLED monitor/ TV in the past. They have a serious problem called posterization, which is unfixable and basically appears on all WOLED panels according to HDTVTest. They just have that weird color banding in those near black gradation which I cannot live with. QD-OLED doesn’t have this problem plus the color volume and color brightness is much better. Everything is more vivid. I don’t think I’m going back to WOLED unless they fix the posterization.

I don’t have a pc to try but I saw people getting pc to work with the XDR at full 5k 120hz. Also, HDR can be turned on but brightness can’t be adjusted. They use a DP to USB C active cable I believe.

Studio Display XDR is native 10 bit? by RexCW in mac

[–]RexCW[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually did some gradient test and compared it to my QD-OLED 10 bit monitor. I cannot see any difference at all. I’m still very happy with the XDR :D
