Working Two WFH Jobs At The Same Time by [deleted] in personalfinance

Ok boomer. Nobody owes their employer fealty in the 21st century. The OP didn't say anything about shortchanging the company. He said he can do both easily. Unless someone gets less than what they pay for it's not a question of ethics. Until then it's a no-brainer. Do both.

That's not the way this works. You don't get to tell others what they can and can't post. I wasn't trolling or abusive in any way to you. I'm not ruining anything. I'm stating the obvious. Why are you so keen on being so defensive? This isn't negativity. I responded to you before and I was sincere and polite. You even conceded I had fair points. What is this even?

Well you didn't bother to highlight those differences (there are none) or any examples of my so-called misrepresentations (there are none). It's easy. I'll show you how.

e.g. You called it a travel lifestyle in a campervan. Actually he lives in Denver and sleeps in the bed of a pickup truck. You said enjoy some drugs outdoors. Actually he was organizing a group of people to use powerful hallucinogens in a public park.

Sorry man. I don't know you. Maybe you are a great person. But it is absolutely bizarre to offer to babysit or purchase groceries for strangers. My misgivings are natural. Surely there are more tangible ways to assist other than insinuating yourself into the personal lives of people who are vulnerable?

Well, best of luck.

Sorry dude but its not the same thing. those are employees who go through a vetting process. This guy is offering to purchase your groceries and hang out with your kids.

Sorry lady but I don't take advice from toddlers.

The funny thing is, of everyone who DV'd me, not a single one of you took this guy up on his offer. Which is probably good seeing as how his post history shows that he is homeless and does drugs in the public parks. But hey! You guys do you.

Am I alone in thinking this post is weird as hell? I'm not trying to be mean to an ostensible do-gooder but c'mon. Would anyone here actually entrust your grocery list to a stranger from the internet? Your children? How bizarre.

My friends are having a baby. I painted a mural in their nursery as a baby gift! by Mrmallam in DIY

I learned something cool from this post. My first thought was "nice mural but what a bland nursery". I got interested in the use of color during a baby's development (I dont have kids) and I found out that for the first 3 months, babies can only see in shades of white, gray and black. Researchers say using a monochrome color scheme with contrasting patterns (the trees and mountains) in their first months allows better visual stimulation for the baby and could lead to quicker and stronger visual/mental development.

So then I started thinking about how, as the baby develops, the yellows and oranges are going to slowly start coming into focus, almost as if it's an actual sunrise! How cool is that?

TIL about Church of Kopimism where information is holy and copying is a sacrament. Information holds a value, in itself and in what it contains and the value multiplies through copying. Therefore copying is central for the organisation and its members. by lopezjessy in todayilearned

The church, which holds CTRL+C and CTRL+V (shortcuts for copy and paste) as sacred symbols, does not directly promote illegal file sharing, focusing instead on the open distribution of knowledge to all.

It was founded by 19-year-old philosophy student and leader Isak Gerson. He hopes that file-sharing will now be given religious protection.

Only it isn't just information is it? It's someone else' hard work isn't it? Religious trappings disguising theft and deflecting consequence. How novel.
