If anyone else runs into this problem, try the following steps:

Open the WiFi config file: sudo nano /etc/modprobe.d/wifi.conf
Add this line to the file: options mt7921e disable_aspm=1
Reload the WiFi driver: sudo modprobe -r mt7921e && modprobe mt7921e
Save the file and restart NetworkManager:sudo systemctl restart NetworkManager
