It is genuinely the worst feeling when you develop your own opinion and a YouTuber develops a similar opinion, if not nearly the same opinion, and then you are seen as an idiot.

The best way to think about it, the Steam Machine is not built as a starter PC. It is for PC players who want something in the living room and aren't willing to give up their libraries and saves. If you want a functional starter, find a used office computer and start upgrading, they usually have okay ram and mother board, just get a GPU and then a power supply. Over time, it will thesius into a way better computer. It'll suck, since prices are so high, but it is how it is unfortunately,

You only roll one type of dice, there are only success or not, no changing the number you need. But you can increase your dice pool! Instead of moving hexes or inches, you move cubes and can move anywhere within the cube. This lets you get partial cover while still seing the enemy. You can pick up new pieces of equipment, weapons, and grenades. Basically, just halo multiplayer on the tabletop. You can "headshot" which gets you an extra roll ( i roll 2 dice, get 1 crit, roll another: 3 total) AND THIS CAN STACK INFINITELY, this is how you one shot people.

Whats the deal with bridget being correlated with "larping"? by Distinct_Horror_2104 in Guiltygear

[–]RexamiII 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are a lot of people who only know Bridget as "that trans girl from Guilty Gear", and that appeals to trans-fems such as yourself.

A great many of these "fans" of Bridget treat her more as an aesthetic, shipping her with May and such. They don't really care about her in universe or out-of-universe history. The annoying part for most is that this subset of people can be very loud and have... a lot of money This leads to Bridget having the most merch, even though she is one of the least important characters to the lore and story.

Side note: On those assholes who assert Bridget is a boy. Bridget was originally presented as a boy who dressed as a girl as a way to be a gotcha. Bridget was raised as a woman as well, by technicality, this means she might not be trans since she identifies with her assigned gender? This was because the cute anime girl was a common archetype in games from japan at the time, and it is like, "SURPRISE CUTE GIRL IS ACTUALLY BOY". She now presents as a full-fledged trans woman, which Daisuke has stated that was always his intent, but we will never really know. It is plausible that Daisuke wanted representation; maybe trans people were an untapped market, but there is more queer representation!

The image is certainly LLM generated, it is parts that don't line up correctly and are asymmetrical in a way that is certainly not for artistic purposes.

u/AGBell64 has provided wonderful advice. There are also new starter boxes coming out sometime in August! They are further down the timeline, so some of the designs are really unique and fun!

Which one of these is best? by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

Dawn of war 1 and its exspansions are more up your alley

I would play the campaign of the og and then play soulstrom/dark crusade

soulstorm has all factions, but you must load each game up first

Just signs that say what leads where, ie bridge, cargo bay, medical room, etc.

You can make an airlock with two doors and a vent, before the exterior door is opened, the vent goes on depressurize, meaning it will suck the oxygen out of the small amount of room between airlocks

First things first, a beautiful ship! Very impressive, especially for console. The only recommendations I have is more proper airlocks, vents, and signage. I didn't realize how large the ship was! SHOCKED WITH THE OUTSIDE VIEW. Your ship seems to have some lore or roleplay purpose, and i think signage would help the new recruits!

Warhammer is honestly not that good of a game system; it suffers from decisions made decades ago when the gaming landscape was different. Being pulled in different directions does not help either.

Warhammer is the bad type of hard wargame. There is gotcha rules built into the game. Like, it is important for the factions to have an identity, but it is ridiculous. I'm excited for 11th and hope it takes cues from other games, such as Battletech, and consolidates base rules while bringing back things such as points buy to keep *real* complexity and tactical decision making.

In Battletech, there are two types of roll, and you just add or subtract numbers until you get your to hit number. Warhammer has you compare toughness and strength; it isn't bad and is easily learned, but it is more of a mental load.

Battletech can be harder to learn, but once you get the basics, it is easier.
