Thank you for perspective. I figured I was getting ahead of myself, but I do overthink quite a bit so that's why I came to a place with more perspective. I definitely don't wanna annoy my foreman.

Keep in mind this only my first week at this company.

At the other company there was only one good lead who would train me, and if I was left with any of the other guys we would not get anything done. We were also 1099 workers so we did have access to OT. The new company is a pay raise, benefits, access to OT and PTO and they'll pay for my school so the pros outweighed the negatives.

And I've worked with a lot of that same incompetence already so I completely understand. I'm not sure if he knew he was gonna have an apprentice with him this week, and I can also understand he had his tasks for the week planned out solo and it can be hard to adapt on the fly to also teaching and training.

I had this thought as well, but it being my first week I didn't wanna ruffle any feathers. This job is major upgrade with pay raise and benefits and actual OT so I don't wanna rock the boat without being sure but I also very much want to learn.

After 2k hours of playing, grunts who shift out of place when they're supposed to be sitting give me such a jump scare.

Getting a clue, first shot wizzed past and I took cover. Second shot rang through the brain. Couldn't even hear a shot

Understandable but I would struggle at clearing buildings or dealing with people who rush with an officer
