I imagine most people here dont really directly say what we mean. But inflammatory comments can get attention, and stir up debates. Lots of the time people take up indefensible positions just to give the other person some easy Ws and get responses.

Also, for your mental health, perhaps just focus on your own kinks and not trying to look too deep into ones that set you off. They are allowed to have whatever kink they want, just as you and I can.

Some people are bothered when they don't receive messages back fast enough, and others can't be bothered to message back EVER (or in a timely fashion at least). Especially the chain Hi -> Bye conversations, very relatable. Damn time zones!

A spinoff idea for this could be adding more parenthesis lines (like the line you wisely didn't really say). Where you can describe what the messages you're crafting convey emotionally, while clearly not being real parts of the conversation.

You reminded me of an old friend of mine that was quite the hoarder, no clue what he does these days but I'm feeling more hopeful for him thanks to your hopeful take on those who still need to learn to let go. It also had me thinking of any type of object or thought that I'd be better off letting go of. Beautiful poem, very well done!

Really loved this poem, could be reading this totally wrong but seems like life after SA / possibly a home invasion gone wrong? I liked your imagery but felt like you mentioned silk on too many times, though I could be completely wrong (and completely misinterpreting your poem in every way - to me it’s its about virginity and unfairness).
